Do you remember Zhoward, our boy with the seizures? He really hit the lottery with his new parents! His mom is a vet who also has also previously adopted another S**T cat with medical needs.
Zhoward is a smart and athletic boy who needs mental and physical stmulation so his family now takes them on camping trips and just built a giant scratching post to mimic a tree. It is really incredible how Zhoward went from living on the streets in danger due to his medical needs to living a dream life.❤

Beans came to visit us at Art in the Park today! She is thoroughly enjoying her catnip PURRogi!
Beans is one of our medical hospice fosters, who will live out his life in a foster home under S**T’s care.
He loves foster kittens and while they are waiting out the 2 week quarantine he likes to share his favourite toy - a pipe cleaner. 😀
Jhinger is a sweet three year old female brown tabby who has a four white socks and an adorable matching white vest. She is affectionate, loves pets, and will tolerate being picked up but will not stay and cuddle in your arms. She is playful and loves loves loves chasing the red dot (some day she'll get it) as well as playing with wand toys. She shows her love for her people by calling their names when they aren't paying enough attention to her, and giving them head butts when they do show up. Jhinger will also let your brush her lovely soft fur and turns her purr button on high when she is happy. We don't know how she is with other pets or children but her friendly temperament suggests she would do well with both - just be sure to give her a bit of time to settle in as she hissed a lot during the first few days (but was doing so as we were petting her)!

We are pretty sure Lord Farquaad is making air biscuits but it kind of looks like he is reaching for that toy and is too tired or lazy to reach. Either way - it's adorable.
Lord F is about 8 months old and hadn't had much human socialization prior to coming to foster care so he is shy and still working on his social skills. He is getting so much better thanks to his foster home and is ready for a home that has a little bit of patience while he continues to build trust.

Nayru had a special morning during her Camp PetSmart stay today: since she LOVES to be on her harness, she was able to go for a walk and check out the sales floor! She met lots of nice people, saw some dogs and did some shopping! Nayru would love to be the only kitty in her new home. She doesn’t always play well with others. Apply to meet her today!
Happy Caturday from Xena (center) and her foster friends. Read more about this senior sweetie here: https://streetcat.ca/xena
