🐾 Congratulations to Daisy on getting adopted into her amazing forever home on Thursday! 🎉🏡 Daisy came to our rescue from a rough situation, and was rather anxious and timid at first. ❤️‍🩹 Daisy quickly came out of her shell and became very friendly and affectionate while in foster care 💕 Daisy is now enjoying her new comfortable home and loving family, and is getting along very well with her new brother 🐈 We wish Daisy a long, happy life filled with love and good health💗

🐾 We’re hosting a Craft & Bake Sale in Market Mall on Saturday September 7th and Sunday September 8th! 🍰 We’re asking for donations of any handmade crafts, art, jewellery, beadwork, knitting, crocheting, woodwork, baking, bread, bannock or preserves (pickles & jams) to sell at our fundraiser. All funds raised will go to the medical care of rescue cats! ❤️‍🩹

If you’d like to contribute, please contact us!🧁Price your own items for what you’d like to see our rescue receive for your work. If you’re baking, we’ll send you our food safety guidelines. If possible, please provide ingredient list.

Drop off for baking is Friday September 6th from 5 PM - 10 PM in Confederation park area, and Saturday at 10 AM at Market Mall. We can also pick up any donations if needed! Craft & non-perishable donations will be accepted at any time leading up to the craft & bake sale 🧶

🐾 Louie was an abandoned cat in Asquith. He came to our rescue with 2 other abandoned cats, Nitara, who has also been adopted, and her sister Nori, who is still up for adoption! Louie was adopted from our rescue in June and has been enjoying his new life in his loving, forever home 💗🏡

🐾 We’re excited to announce that Hershey was adopted into his amazing, loving, forever home today!🏡 Hershey is a kitten who spent months in our rescue’s care after being caught by the weir with his brother Skittles and their mom. Skittles and their mom found homes, but Hershey was taking longer to find the perfect home because of his shy tendencies 💗 We wish Hershey a long, happy life filled with love and good health with his new family! 💕

🐾 Our rescue has had a busy week! On Monday, Daisy was spayed and will be recovering in foster care until she goes to her new forever home on August 21st 💗 On Tuesday, Angus and Will Feral were both neutered and vaccinated 🏥 On Wednesday, Angus was adopted into his loving, forever home along with his bonded partner Bonnie ❤️🏡 And Will Feral will continue to be socialized in his foster home until he becomes ready to be placed up for adoption 🐈

🐾 We’re looking for new volunteer foster homes 🏡 to join our rescue team! We are over capacity and unable to take new cats into our rescue 💔 We need your help to save the lives of cats in need and it comes at no cost to you! 🐈

We provide all of the foster cats needs through donations including their food, litter and medical care 🏥 so fostering has no expense to you!

Fostering isn’t a long term commitment! If you can only foster for a certain amount of time or suddenly can no longer foster once you have a foster cat, we have it covered! Foster cats can always be returned to us, and we appreciate the help no matter the length of time. ⏰

🐾 Lola and Dave are a kindhearted couple who run a fundraising project where they make and sell beautiful bird houses 🐦 for $25 each and the funds from each one sold through our page will go to the medical care of cats in our rescue 🏥

The bird houses are handmade with spruce wood, which is very durable and meant to last! They open underneath for easy cleaning, and come with hooks and chains added to them to hang from a hook or tree branch 🌳

For inexpensive options to donate we recommend the No Name clumping cat litter from Superstore which is $11.50/ 18kg box and we recommend Cosco and Walmart for finding the best cat food deals and sales. 🐟

🐾 Adoption fee adjustment:

We have had a promotional low adoption fee of $50 for our cats and kittens while our new rescue gains recognition. As of August 1st 2024, we will be adjusting the adoption fee to $100 for each cat and kitten which will help us cover more of their medical expenses. This is still a very discounted price, considering how much we invest into each cat to make sure they are healthy, vaccinated and spayed or neutered before adoption. 🐈

🏡 Each home that adopts a cat or kitten from us must fill out an application, have an in-person meeting with the cat or kitten, and sign an adoption contract at the time of adoption. 📝

🚨 We urgently need volunteer foster homes to help us ‼️🚨

We have been in dire need of more foster homes, and now have an especially urgent situation! Due to emergency circumstances we need immediate placement for Nori, and for Autumn and her remaining 4 kittens. 🏡

Nori is a very sweet female cat who is set to be spayed on Monday ❤️‍🩹

Autumn is a semi-feral mom cat who has been socialized for a few months in foster care and is still quite shy. She has 4 kittens still with her, 1 of which has a potential adopter.

If you’re willing to consider fostering either Nori or Autumn & her kittens, please contact us‼️❤️🐾 Fostering costs you nothing! We will pay for their medical expenses as well as their food, litter and any other needs. ❤️‍🩹 If you have even a spare room available, it could be used to temporarily foster a cat in need. Please consider fostering to help save lives and give foster cats in our rescue their much needed placement 🐈❤️
