🐾 We would like to give a big thank you to Wicked Whatnots for donating a gorgeous handmade “Frustration Rummy” board and “Tic-Tac-Meow” board game to our rescue to be used in our Craft and Bake Sale fundraiser! We are so grateful for their kindness and generosity.

The Tic-Tac-Meow board sold at our sale, but if you’re interested in purchasing one, Wicked Whatnots sells them for only $20! 🐾 We had a very successful Craft & Bake Sale🧁 last weekend which raised us a total of $1511 in medical funds! 🎉

Thank you so much to all of our supporters who donated their delicious baking and beautiful crafts, art and handmade items.💗 We truly have wonderful, kind hearted supporters. You really make a difference in the lives of the cats in need in our community. 🐈

🚨 Volunteer help needed!🚨
There has been a possible sighting of the male tuxedo cat who escaped from us on College Drive at the end of November, so we are urgently looking for volunteers who would be willing to check a humane trap for us so that we can keep it open as long as possible and hopefully trap this poor cat! He was last spotted on the 1100 block of College Dr and 1100 block of Elliot St. A kind hearted neighbour on Elliot St has been checking our trap for us, but she has now left town and is unable to check the trap for us for at least the next few days.

If you are willing to check a trap for us set on Elliot St please comment or contact us! Even if you are only able to check it once this greatly helps us be able to keep it open longer and we can try to schedule other volunteers for opposing times. 🪤

If you or anyone you know lives near where he was spotted and are willing to have a humane trap set on your property, please let us know. We appreciate any help given to give this cat a shot at being trapped to become safe with us. ❤️‍🩹

🐾 Meet Nacho! 👋🐈
Nacho is a handsome ~1 year old orange and white boy who came to our rescue at the beginning of December. He was found shivering in the cold just outside of Finn’s pub on Spadina. We were very surprised when Nacho didn’t have a home looking for him, because he is extremely social, friendly and outgoing as if he was recently owned 💔

Nacho has been vaccinated and neutered, so he is all ready for a new home! Nacho is thriving in foster care, where he loves to cuddle and play with other cats. He is especially talented at playing fetch! Nacho would love a home with other cats and / or children to play with. If you’re interested in adopting Nacho or have any questions about him, please contact us! 🐾

🐾 Lola and Dave are a kindhearted couple who sell their beautiful hand crafted bird houses and feeders to raise medical funds for cat rescues, including ours! ❤️🐈‍⬛ They make beautiful gifts, and spring is just around the corner🌷

Each regular painted bird house costs $25 and each sports team painted bird house costs $30.

The bird houses are handmade with spruce wood, which is very durable and meant to last! They open underneath for easy cleaning, and come with hooks and chains added to them to hang from a hook or tree branch 🌳

🐾 We have 5 adorable kittens who are now ready for adoption! This litter was born from Velvet, who was a stray pregnant cat, found in the Meadowgreen area 🐈‍⬛

🐾 Congratulations to Ariel 🎉 on getting adopted into her loving forever home by her foster mom, Emily ❤️🏡 Ariel was 1 of 10 cats left inside of an abandoned house during the spring. Our rescue was able to take on the last 3 found, and Ariel was the very hardest to catch while hiding within the house. It’s so surprising that she would hide from humans, because once she went to foster care, she became extremely affectionate and loves human attention. Ariel developed a strong bond and attachment to her foster mom, Emily, who made the decision to adopt her. Ariel is very happy and loved in Emily’s home where she has a dog brother and cat sister to cuddle with. We wish Ariel a long, happy life with her new family 💗

🐾 Congratulations to Holly and Hazel 🎉 on getting adopted into their loving forever home ❤️🏡 Holly and Hazel are 2 of 5 kittens who were born from the semi-feral cat Harriet outside in the Sutherland area. Their other 3 sisters were adopted together into a loving home very quickly, and their mom, Harriet, is being socialized in our “Blossom” program.

Holly and Hazel have now been renamed Nova and Nebula. They really enjoy playing with their new dog sister and 3 human children companions. We wish Nova and Nebula long, happy lives filled with love in their new family 💗
