Good day everyone!

We want to take a minute to remind everyone, that all dogs are required to be on their flea, tick and lice preventative. As well, all dogs need to be up to date on their vaccines, including the Bordetella vaccine. We have had 1 confirmed case of Kennel cough. Please keep your dogs at home if they are coughing/hacking, are excessively sneezing, have runny eyes, or runny nose.

Happy Thursday everyone!
We would like to make you aware of the new policy.

We understand life is busy and unpredictable, but it is of the utmost importance to honor your booked appointment. If a customer cancels last minute, or worse, if the customer doesn't show, we have little to no chance to fill that spot and/or have lost that spot altogether and becomes a financial loss. This has been an ongoing issue for some time now and we have decided to implement a cancellation policy.

Effective immediately, any cancellations that are not made by 6pm the day before, will result in a day being taken off his or her package.

We would also like to kindly remind everyone that has a 20 full day or 20 half day package, that your dog must attend a minimum 2x a week, with the exceptions of vacation/illness.

Good Tuesday Morning, everyone!

In the middle of February, we had asked all owners to start their dog on their flea/tick and lice preventative, after having a dog who attended daycare, was found to have lice. Unfortunately, this didn't happen😔 We were made aware yesterday, that a dog who has been attending daycare, has lice. We hate to sound like a broken record, but at this point we are pleading with the ones, who haven't started their dog on a preventative to do so asap!! It's absolutely imperative that your dog be on this. We hate having to deal with these little critters as much as you do. If you are a new dog owner, please contact your vet to discuss what preventative best suits your dog.

Please watch for any excessive scratching, licking or biting in certain areas.

We will continue with our disinfecting, as we have been already doing, and will be continuously checking dogs over.

We hate to be a thorn in everyones side🫤but we will be checking in with all customers, who have not put their dog on a preventative yet, that they are doing so asap. Feel free to let us know, once your dog has theirs, so that we don't bug you😁

We understand this is frustrating 😖Trust us, we feel your frustration😟 But the health, and safety of all dogs in our care, is our top priority💕🐕😊

Happy Friday Everyone!

All of us here at Wag-A-Tail, believe being honest and upfront with our customers, is extremely important when it comes to their furbabies, so in saying that, we unfortunately, need to inform you that we were made aware later last night, that there has been a dog, who attended daycare, with lice. This is NOT an outbreak, this is only one dog, that we are aware of at this time. We are taking every step necessary to eradicate this issue. We are cleaning and spraying everything with a pet friendly Flea, Tick and Lice preventative. We will be spraying your dogs collars, and harnesses upon their arrival with this same solution, and will be looking your dogs over as well.

We ask that everyone, please check their dogs over, thoroughly! If you need, you can google pictures to see exactly what you are looking for. You can give your dog a bath, using anti lice shampoo. And as we mentioned a few months back, ALL dogs MUST be on a Flea, Tick and Lice preventative.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause, and we assure you, we are doing everything possible to deal with this issue!
