Avian Flu Concerns and Update from Perfectly Raw.....
First and foremost, we want to assure all of our customers and beyond that our products are perfectly safe for feeding to cats and dogs.
Perfectly Raw only sources ingredients from CFIA human food processing plants, including our pork and egg ingredients, so our pet food is as safe as can be. Everything we use originates from a facility that makes the very same food you and I eat on our kitchen tables.

We work very closely with both our suppliers and the CFIA to keep us up to speed on such issues.
As a CFIA export permit holder to the US, we are also privy to their automatic, real time emails that let us know where and when avian flu is detected anywhere in Canada, along with other issues.

Manitoba, where we source our ingredients from and where we are based, has only seen 1 case of Avian Flu in 2024, and only 2 cases in 2023.

We can promise you and all of our customers that no infected birds end up in our supplier's facility.

We will continue to work very closely with our partners at CFIA and the facilities who supply us with the high quality, safe ingredients that we use to make the Perfectly Raw pet food you and your families enjoy and love❤️

All of our Perfectly Raw Dinners and Mixes are complete and balanced, following NRC guidelines with help from Dr. Lea Stogdale, renowned local Winnipeg vet specializing in holistic and integrative medicine and care.

NRC guidelines means that the recipes and supplementation requirements for raw pet food companies that follow them have been formulated by a pet nutrition professional, who consulted and used the most recent evidence based and peer reviewed publications and information provided by The National Research Council of the National Academies.
