Other than ripping my fiber box out through my office wall by the cable (so we have no Internet), the lateral line replacement is going well. The kids are in my office for the next two days while they jack hammer up all around the gecko cave in the basement and dig up our yard. Yipeee!

The most important thing you need to know about Leos is that they are NOT NOT NOT desert animals. They are from cool arid climates. Any pet store that sells you a "Desert Kit" (featuring sand or calcisand) for Leos is perpetuating that misconception. Not only will your animal suffer in those conditions, it will DIE. When you look at providing an appropriate home in which in an animal can thrive, consider where it comes from, what those temperatures, humidity levels, and surrounding environments are like. Hey everyone! We have decided that we won't be offering Luna up for adoption on our site anymore. We have had dozens of people sign up to adopt an animal with special needs, then tell us they don't want to move ahead with adoption because she has special needs. (Which is clearly marked on our site.) If you want a "Pretty" gecko but you don't want her anymore because she's got a congenital neurological condition (that you knew about because you can read, and I know you can read because you complain about a perfectly reasonable, lower than industry standard price for a companion animal ^_~) , we pretty much think you're not in it for the right reasons. 🤙

And as it usually does, the breeding season has begun with Autumn who just came in! The break was nice while it lasted :) We will be breeding VERY selectively this season until all of last years offspring have been adopted. That said, if you are looking for a particular morph, please let me know. We are more than willing to reserve an animal for you.

There have been a number of requests for super snows, and we should be able to reliable produce our own line this year. We have been busy outcrossing to improve the health of the morph and it took us two years to get to this point. Once we have hatched a foundation super snow male, we will offer the rest to those on our reserve list first. Message me to be added to the wait list.

As another year draws to a close, Amon, Puck, Willow, Frost, Zoey, Amber and more have found their forever homes! Three new geckos will be joining the holdback release, and they are Oakley, Rowan and Cinder. Look for updates soon, and shipping resumes in about two months, but otherwise, we are available for local pickup at the holidays. Thanks again to everyone who made 2024 so successful, we hope you are enjoying your new friends

There are far too many delays with holiday shipping volumes during the full month of December. 2yrs ago we placed an embargo on shipping animals for all of December and it was the best decision for animal safety. If Canada Post decides to strike in December this will create a perfect storm that adds to the already messy situation.

We'll post this a few more times in November as reminders. We'd appreciate it if you would share this to get the word out 🙌
