Joni and cyrus are little love birds and it's soooo cute

Last night around 930 pm I witnessed a woman in a big white truck with her young puppy attached to a leash outside of her car, not dragging the dog; but close to it. The puppy (as they do) looked like it was confused and also intrigued at what she could possibly be doing; driving while trying to keep up with its owner. I yelled out my window, because it was pretty alarming to witness...I reversed back to her, and ask if they're ok. In which she replied with hostility "were fine! mind your own f*ing business" and continued by telling me to not so kindly go away.
I was alone; and there was another car with its lights off; just down the road. I was uncomfortable to continue approaching this hostile woman. After I watched a few moments longer, I couldn't take it so I did a u-turn to confront her again (anxiously of course) and she picked up the puppy and peeled off, so I lost sight of her. She was going the direction of the trails in Wilson creek.
I called the police because my gut was telling me something was wrong. I was not able to find her after this.
I really hope maybe some how this post reaches her; and that if nothing was actually happening (my mind created a darker story) that she's aware of how dangerous and unsafe that is, and how it could possibly look to a bystander. If you're not intentionally doing anything wrong; why are you so hostile is my curious question. Another curiosity is why are you doing this in the dark with no one around? This situation was pretty messed up as someone who was there first hand.
I kick myself for not getting the license plate or make/model of the truck.
I wanted to share this in hopes it reaches this very rude woman (but I know that's definitely a long shot).
