Meet Karen!

Karen was found as stray in Powell River, and was recently transferred to the Sunshine Coast Branch. We have no previous history about Karen, but it seems as though she hasn't had much human socialization or interaction over the course of her life, as she is quite fearful of people.

However, recently we have discovered Karen loves company! If you sit with Karen, she will start purring up a storm. Karen doesn't want to be touched but really enjoys someone to spend time with her. Shy kitties need love too!

Meet Nash!

Nash is a playful and spirited dog who is ready to bring joy and energy into your home! This fun-loving pup absolutely adores playing ball and will keep you entertained for hours with his playful antics. He knows some commands like "sit" and "paw," showing that he is eager to learn and enjoys working for treats!

While Nash is filled with enthusiasm, he does need some additional training when it comes to his basic manners. He tends to pull hard on the leash and can be vocal when left alone, so consistent leash training and gradual acclimation to alone time will be important for his confidence and comfort.

To help Nash feel at ease, slow introductions to new people and animals are recommended. With a little patience and understanding, he will flourish in a loving environment that provides him with the structure and socialization he needs.

If you're looking for a playful companion who will bring energy and joy into your life, Nash could be the perfect match! Come meet him today and see how this wonderful dog can become the newest member of your family!

All Zuri wants for Valentine's Day is a furever home with loving pawrents.

Zuri's foster mom says Zuri likes to approach people at the park to get some nice scratchies, she is wonderful with kids, and she is learning to love bath time!

Zuri wants everyone to know that she does really well being left alone too, so if her new pawrents wanted to go out for dinner for Valentine's Day, she could patiently wait at home for them.

If you think you could be Zuri's Valentine's miracle, click the link to apply to adopt!
