Yay SNOW!

A well socialized dog is a happy dog! As dog owners, we hear that word so often...socialize! But what does it really mean? Of course it means providing opportunities for your dog to get to know and interact with other dogs and people...but there's so much more to proper socialization that is often forgotten. Socializing Rover is actually hard work! It means closely supervising, redirecting and stopping his interaction when necessary to ensure he's learning polite manners and how to react appropriately to verbal and visual signals given by other dogs and people. As always, we're happy to provide any advice you might be looking for on how to safely and most effectively introduce your dog to humans and canines and how to oversee their playtime to make sure Rover is taking away good habits instead of picking up bad ones!

Charlie Goes Swimming!

On dreary days like today, the COR Pack can't help but look forward to warmer days! If you need a little pick me up on this gray day, take a look at one of Charlie's first swimming experiences from last July...it's sure to get a giggle out of you. Here's hoping that Charlie's dog paddling skills improve next Summer! ;)
