It's that time of year again! The weather is starting to get colder and we're pulling out the blankets ❄️🧣🥶. Our WINTER READY BLANKET DRIVE was a huge success last year, bringing in so many donations to help keep our seniors warm & dry for the colder months.

Do you have a favourite senior on the farm?
If you would like to contribute to their winter attire for this season, get in touch or stop by the farm with the most colourful blanket you can find! 😅🐴

We said a tough goodbye to a wonderful friend yesterday. The farm is too quiet today and our hearts are heavy, but we are so grateful for everything he gave us: the love, the laughs and the memories that will stay within our walls forever. Thank you to everyone who made his retirement years the best they could ever be and to everyone who visited and supported us over the past few days. Bumblebee truly was 'the peoples' pony' and the love you showed him was wonderful ❤️🌈

Proper tribute to his amazing life to come in a few days 🐴

Week of July 8-12
Camp runs daily from 9-3 in Mono
Ages 4-10
Farm chores, Mounted & Unmounted activities, Forest Exploration, Scavenger Hunts & Free Play, Crafts, Games & More!

Today is Canada’s National Horse Day! 🐴 We would like to say a big “THANK YOU” to all our wonderful horses at Black Acres. From the golden oldies to the ones who like to test our patience every now and then, we’re so thankful to have each and every horse on the farm in our lives. 🐎
