Coastal Tails 2024 Boarding Recap 🐾

After flipping through our 2024 boarding yearbook, we are beyond grateful for an incredible year! Out of 365 days, there were only 20 days when our facility wasn’t filled with wagging tails and happy paws! 😱

🚨 Even more amazing? We had 16 straight weeks of boarding without a single break in between — that’s 4 months of non-stop fun, and care for your loved ones

This milestone wouldn't have been possible without the trust and loyalty of our amazing clients and the endless love from all of your sweet dogs. 🐶

SINDEN, Robert Francis - age 71 of Shelburne N.S, Bob passed away at Roseway Hospital on January 2, 2025 after a battle with cancer that he sought treatment for in the past year. He was born on June 29, 1953 in Halifax, N.S. Bob was an active kid, with an

Our head chairman Bob Sinden passed away at 3AM this morning. Bob was also involved in many events in the community. He will be dearly missed. Arrangements will be made at a later date.

Hey! Sabrina Burroughs here. I want to thank you for taking interest in my adventure- Coastal Tails. I wanted to write a little something to let you know what Coastal Tails is all about. I graduated college as a Veterinary Assistant in 2015. I did my first job placement at a dog daycare in Halifax, in early 2015. That was where I absolutely fell in love with the idea of someday being able to own my own dog daycare/ dog and cat boarding facility. I set that goal, and kept it as my main goal for the last three years. I’ve worked at a few different veterinary hospitals, then in November of 2018 I was finally able to get the building I have wanted for the last two years (since moving to Shelburne to work at Shelburne Veterinary Hospital) It is absolutely perfect for your pets. 3,600 sq feet of playing area, a large fence outside, heated floors, and so much more (Thank you Beulah Burman for your love of animals). So, What will Coastal Tails be offering? Right now, Coastal Tails is offering a 24 hour service to you and your pets. Dog daycare when you’re working, boarding for your dogs and cats when you’re on vacation, nail trims, and dog walks. There will be some surprises along the way as well, so stay tuned for events and such. Please, sign up to be on the e-mail list! That will be where the information will be.
