A BIG thank you to all of my customers, family and friends who have supported my business over the last 2.5 years!! Without you Primitive K9 wouldn’t even be possible ❤️ I appreciate every one of you!!

As of August 24th, 2024 I will be taking a temporary pause on orders, tradeshows and events until January 2025. At that time I will decide if I can re-open orders or not.

💕All orders previously placed before the 24th will be sent out next week! Watch your messages if you are waiting on delivery 💕

💕There will also be a sale on all in-stock collars and leashes that I will post over the next few weeks to clear out inventory! So stay tuned for some great sales💕

These beautiful snouts also contain about 300 million olfactory receptors, in comparison to our 6 million in humans.

Plus- the part of the brain that is devoted to analyzing smells is about 40 times greater than ours !

Today Luna had her annual vaccinations at Park Range Vet in Prince Albert. They are always SO kind and provide wonderful service there 💕

I wanted to take a few pics to demonstrate how my 6Ft Leashes can function as a shorter version when needed.

Clip the leash like normal to your dog’s collar as well as to the D-ring located on the handle of the leash. It creates a loop that is approximately 3 Ft long and provides an additional handle right at the dog’s neck.

I simply didn’t want the leash to drag on the floor while we were waiting in the clinic so I clipped it this way.

Sometimes you need your dog to have less movement or better control and 6 Ft is too long. Or when hanging them up at home, I do this so they aren’t hanging on the floor.

This is just a few of the uses for the D-Ring located on the handle of my leashes. 🐾

Today was so GOOD! 💕

Luna met this morning for her Black Shadow Photo Session. I am IN LOVE WITH THEM and I only saw a sneak peek!! 👏🏼

It was a day dedicated to Luna 🌙 No other distractions like kids & Echo 😅. Most of my attention does go to Echo lately and it is good to take them one on one sometimes. Next photo session will be with Echo when she has a bit more training. That should be an interesting one 🤣

We took Luna into Cabela’s, Canadian Tire and a walk around a busy shopping area. She got some treats and a few pets (when permitted) and it was the perfect chance to reinforce some of the training we had last Spring. She nailed it! But with any training, practice is a MUST. I can see the areas I need to focus on more with her. Her calm personality continues to amaze me, I love this dog 🐾💕

And another test of the soon-to-be-released leash/harness patches proved successful 🙌🏼
