The power of PAPER!📄
It's safe to say that a box and scrap paper is our favourite form of enrichment, it's so easy and the dogs LOVE it! They can utilize their natural needs to sniff, dig, shred, and chew.
In this video we had Peach sniffing through the box and having a blast. The result was a tired, happy, and relaxed dog after 10 minutes.
The phrase "let them chew/shred/dig" isn’t quite what it sounds like: No one is saying let your dog go wild and wreck all your favourite stuff. Instead, give them "legal" opportunities to do all these things, so that they'll be less likely to do the "illegal" version.

Reminder that our puppy social drop-off will now be held on Wednesdays at 6:15pm!
Our Puppy Socials are for dogs under 1 year, they will be separated by age and play style.
🐾What is a Puppy Social?
Once your pup joins the fun, our trainers will match them up with buddies of similar size and play style. Throughout the hour, there’ll be plenty of playtime, with rest breaks and potty breaks in between to keep the energy flowing! With no owners around, pups can focus on making friends instead of sniffing out the treats in everyone’s pockets!

Puppy socialization is like a puppy party with tons of perks! First off, it’s a chance for pups to mix and mingle with furry friends, humans, and all sorts of interesting objects in a super-safe space. This helps dodge future fears and feisty behaviors. Plus, it’s a great way to build up your pups confidence! Each positive encounter builds up their courage and chills those anxious vibes. And let’s not forget the playtime etiquette lessons they pick up from their pals. It’s like puppy school for social butterflies, setting the stage for a lifetime of tail-wagging happiness!

February is Dog Training Awareness Month!
Canine Addiction had a fabulous time with the crew of CTV Morning Live show!
We were so excited to be invited to speak about some of the important aspects of dog training such as safety, positive reinforcement, and bonding with your dog.
We are so proud of our human and canine team representing Canine Addiction! Fury rocked it and don’t worry, Epi got to do tricks off camera before demonstrating a good settle during the show.
