Help Your Cat Get Back to Their βNormalβ π
Cats hide almost everything, especially pain. But if your cat is dealing with osteoarthritis (OA) pain, youβve probably noticed changes in their everyday behavior. Things like jumping, climbing stairs, and even playing might not be so easy for them.

Quill removal with sedation, in super speed
Porcupines and dogs are a bad combination. We have been seeing dogs for porcupine quill removal almost every day!
When a dog comes in for quill removal, we give them an injectable sedative to allow us to remove the quills without pain or distress to the patient. The sooner we see them, the quicker and less complicated this procedure. When quills are broken off beneath the skin, they have the potential to migrate and cause serious issues.
If your dog encounters a porcupine, we encourage you to come in as soon as possible so we can remove the quills and limit pain and complications in your pet.
Who needs a daily dose of cute kittens!?
Each of these kittens had their surgery in the morning and by the afternoon they were happy and playful while waiting for their families to pick them up!
Providing adequate pain control is critical to our pets. We take every step to ensure your furry family member is monitored closely and stays comfortable throughout their day with us.
Signs of pain in cats include hiding, sitting hunched up, vocalizing, inappetence, restlessness or aggression.
We wish these two a speedy recovery and look forward to watching them grow!
Ear Mites
What do you see!? π
These creepy crawlers are ear mites βOtodectes cynotisβ which can infect both cats and dogs. Infection leads to intense ear scratching, head shaking and coffee grounds-like discharge from the ears. Left untreated affected animals can develop severe bacterial infections.
