Meika's is participating in the fourth annual 9 Lives Video Game Marathon in partnership with Help a Buddy Fund! Play video games for a 16-hour marathon on February 15-16, 2025, and help raise important funds for our charity!

The process is simple:

Sign up and create a campaign under our Team. Play video games from the comfort of your home from 10 a.m. on February 15th until 2 a.m. February 16th. Friends and family can donate to your marathon as you challenge yourself to stay awake and kick butt!

The sign-up fee is $20, which counts towards your overall donations to our rescue. Sign up today and start contributing to help animals in need! 🐾

Did you know that alongside Meika's Birdhouse, we also operate Meika's Safehouse?

Meika's Safehouse is a registered charitable organization dedicated to rehabilitating and providing a loving environment for birds in need. While specializing in parrots, we welcome all species of companion birds.

Upon surrender, birds undergo thorough health assessments, training, and socialization as needed. Due to their intelligence, surrendered birds often experience emotional stress. Those with a history of abuse may require extensive rehabilitation and may not be suitable for rehoming.

When a bird is ready for adoption, we meticulously select suitable families. Each adopted bird is provided with a cage, toys, favorite items, a health certificate, and a microchip. Our goal is to ensure the success of birds in their new homes by offering ongoing support and assistance.
