October is clinic month at New Horizon Ranch. We will be offering the following clinics:
October 13th
Obstacles in the morning, fun and games in the afternoon $100 for the day
20th
Jumper workshop
Work on position, pace and jump approach in the morning, practice jumper courses complete with jump offs in the afternoon
$100 for the day
27th
Dressage workshop
Groundwork, bending exercises and starting on some lateral work to help get the horse on the bit in the morning. Practicing some dressage tests in the afternoon. $100 for the day
November 3rd
Mom and daughter riding day. A great time for moms and daughters to have fun with horses and bond while riding and playing some games on horseback.
$180 for each mother/daughter pair for the day
All clinic days are meet up at 9:00am, lunch from noon to 1:00 and will end around 4:00pm.
Need a minimum of 4 people to run each day, will take a maximum of 8 per day

I would like to offer fall mini shoots here at home now that the fall colours are all out. I will be doing a few this coming Monday afternoon. $60 for a mini session includes 6-8 high resolution, edited photos. Please contact me to book a time while the leaves are still on the trees. Family shoots also available.

Fall is upon us, hope all the kids have an awesome first week of school! Our fall riding session starts today for September/October message us if you’re interested in joining in on the fun. We have a couple spots still available in these lessons

Thursday 6:30 novice jump
Saturday 1:30pm beginner flat

What a fantastic week working young horses. Both Thunder and Nutmeg had their first ever ride today, Diego has taken a lot of time but is getting much more relaxed with someone on him, Cruzer appears more broke than I thought he was, Eragon is figuring out moving forward and cantering and Sarabi got leaned over as well. All in all an awesome week and thank you to everyone dedicated and willing to spend time out here helping out with these projects.
