It is with heavy hearts we share the news of Conrad’s passing on January 20, 2025.

Conrad was the heart of Momentum, and this practice would not be what it is today without his vision, hard work and leadership.

Above all else, he was an exceptional dad and husband, and our support continues to be with the Wilgenbusch family during this difficult time.

Thank you for your support and patience as we navigate this season.

With the long weekend rapidly approaching, we want to remind our clients that the clinic will be closed on Monday, July 1st and Tuesday, July 2nd. We will resume our regular hours (8am-4pm Monday-Friday) on Wednesday, July 3rd.

Please note that we require 24 hours notice on medication or supply requests and some items may take longer, depending on availability. If you are in need of any medication or supplies, please contact the clinic (through email or call 587-742-1495) as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your request before the holiday.

After almost 5 years, our receptionist Jodie will be leaving our clinic. Jodie has been with Momentum from the start and we are sad to see her go. We wish her the very best in her new role.
A message from Jodie:
“It’s been a fabulous journey working at Momentum Equine and a bittersweet moment to have to say goodbye to all of the amazing staff here. Most of you know me by my voice/accent but I’ve had the pleasure to meet many of you face to face over the years. I’d like to just say a big thank you to you all, it’s been my honour to assist you during some difficult times and some amazing triumphs during your equine veterinary care with us. From giving you all the inside scoop via videos to assisting during exams and procedures. I’ll miss all that comes with working at Momentum Equine. Farewell for now!!”

We are looking to add a full-time receptionist to join our team at Momentum Equine. Working as a client care specialist at a specialty surgery clinic is a unique working experience. You will be responsible for managing two surgeons’ schedules while handling all communications that come through. High priority tasks include inventory data entry, prescription requests as well as accounts receivable. You will also have the opportunity to lend a helping hand during exam appointments, assist in hospitalized patient care, cleaning stalls and other clinic maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a vet clinic, (equine experience would be a bonus), work well in a team, have excellent communication skills and customer services skills.
