🐶 A friendly reminder: dogs are welcome at Parks Canada-administered places in the Halifax region, but they must be kept on-leash and under control at all times.
In response to an increase in dangerous off-leash dog incidents, Park Wardens will be actively patrolling York Redoubt National Historic Site throughout the 2026 season. Fines may be issued for non-compliance.

➡️ Failing to ensure a dog does not cause an unreasonable disturbance to a person = $295.00
➡️ Failing to ensure a dog does not bite or injure a person = $697.50
