Rumble and Charm are ready for their forever homes.
Rumble and Charm are a bonded pair and should join the same household together.
Dr O’Grady found these 2 kittens as newborns in a field on Sept 17, during a late night mare check. Despite waiting for several hours for the mother to show up , eventually it became obvious that they needed care.
Hand raised, and an integral part of the O’Grady’s clowder of cats, these 2 kittens are extremely affectionate and are into everything!
No fear and always up for an adventure. They are respectful of Dr. O’Grady’s senior cats but are always hopeful they will play with them. At night they love to cuddle up, usually on your chest where they try to play with the iPad on Dr O’Grady’ lap. Both kittens have a loud, happy purr. Rumble gets his name as he has had a “rumbly” purr since a newborn. Charm is much smaller and as a little kitten looked like she would fit on a bracelet as a charm. Both kittens are almost always under foot– into the washing machine, or drier, climbing into boots and they both love to run up your body to sit on your shoulders. The are happy to stay on your shoulder even going up and downstairs.
Due to being hand raised they are very people orientated and have a high need for affection. They need a home where people like extremely social cats that are always wanting attention. Both lap sitters, often sleeping on your chest or around your neck when longing on the sofa. At bedtime they are up by your head, purring loudly. Charm loves to sleep under the covers snuggled up against you. However, once the alarm goes off they are up and ensure that you are too. After all, it is breakfast time and then play time. After breakfast it is cuddle time and they can be found sitting on my husband’s shoulders or lap while he has his coffee. Absolutely and it will be very difficult to part with these two!
Rumble and Charm are available together for an adoption fee of $500 for both. Separating them would be very difficult for them as they are bonded but would be considered if they would be joining a kitten of similar age in the house. Individual kitten adoption fee would be $275. Their adoption fee will help fund the “AL Fund”, a fund which helps provide care to rescued pets. Dr O’Grady donates her time and covers much of the costs associated with providing care to rescued cats/dogs. When adopting a cat from us, you are giving a rescue cat a forever home and helping the next rescue cat or dog!
