I'm Chloe Mork, a 5 year old retired breeding mom. They call me a Morkie, but I'm really just a designer mutt.

I'm a very sweet dog, a little skittish at first but once I get comfortable it gets better. I will still occasionally jump at loud noises but generally I'm very calm.

I prefer a home with no young children, as I don't quite get their body language and I may want to stay far.

At home I like to snuggle up with you and would love to sleep in your bed.

I get along with other dogs, but I'm socially awkward and don't really know how to play. I don't even know what to do with toys. I bring them from room to room once in a while, but I'd like for someone to teach me how to actually play!

I have been learning to walk on a leash, but it's still some work. I can be reactive when I see other dogs. As for my business, I haven't figured out if I prefer grass, or the middle of the street!

I'm also p*e pad trained but until you get the placement of them pads right, I may have accidents. You do need to watch me, as sometimes I'll eat my p**p.

I have no problem staying home alone, no separation anxiety.

I would be the ideal companion to someone who lives a quiet and laidback life. I will be loyal and give so much love to whoever has the opportunity to adopt me.

It will just take some time and patience but I'm well worth it.

I've been named Stello by my rescuer and we're going with that!

I'm a Yorkshire mix, probably around 4 years old, and I'm a total mystery.

I was found abandoned, shivering and scared in a local park. Hours went by, nobody came looking for me so a lady took me home.

After checking to see if someone was looking, contacting authorities, checking for a microchip, I was brought to Sophie's Dog Adoption.

My teeth were horrendous, so I had a full dental for, but we also discovered that my back legs are atrophied. I was walking real weird, the the x-rays show my femur on both sides, are curved and deformed.

I don't remember my past, but my nails were sooooo long they were literally circles, so it looks like I grew up in a horrible place, probably a cage with a wire floor.

However, I can do pretty much anything, it doesn't affect me physically.

I'm friendly, quiet, clean, love walks and very affectionate. I'd be a great dog for a lot of different homes. I just need to find the best!

I'm Milo, a typical backyard breeder dog. At barely 1-1/2 years old, I'm looking for a new home.

I'm super skittish, scared of people, my own shadow and anything else that moves.

I was just neutered, and the vet discovered a serious heart murmur, grade 6 on 6. That means I'll need to keep a mellow life, limited exercise and no excited play.

Once I get to know you, I'll cuddle with you, but for now I need to be "handled with care". No trying to grab me, pick me up, make me sleep on your lap. That will take some time. The more you push, the more I pull away.

I'm looking for that perfect home, who will know to love me despite my quirks, and help me overcome my fears.

I'm Packo and I was told I'm a Chihuahua/Sheltie mix, but I never saw my birth certificate. I'm not even sure of my birthday.

I'm about a year old, I'm great with kids over 5, I've lived with a cat and get along great with other dogs.

Ideally not the best apartment dog, as I can bark at noises, when I'm excited, etc.

I'm ok being alone during the day, not destructive, clean and generally easy to train.

I'm Coukie and I came to Canada for a better life, unfortunately, due to our living situation, I am looking for a new home.

I'm almost 10 years old, but still very healthy and active. I've always been well cared for, it's by no fault of mine that my mom had to give me up.

I’ve been named Nugget by my rescuer. I’m a shy, quiet, friendly 1-year-old Chihuahua. I have a brother, Ti Bo, who is in a potential home.

I'm a two year old male and I've been named Killua by someone who adopted me from an SPCA, then ended up giving me away on Kijiji.

Someone else took my, kept the name, and after a month surrendered me to Sophie's Dog Adoption. It seems I put my teeth on the corner of a baseboard while she was gone to work and left me in the front vestibule. Oops, I guess I got bored. But it's really just a few teeth marks, no real chewing. You can crate me, I'm totally fine with that too.

I'm a medium Spitz type, maybe Pomeranian mixed with American Eskimo? Either way, I'm beautiful, quiet, friendly and already looking for my 4th and FINAL home at barely 2 years old.

I’m Ernest, Ernie for friends! I’m a 5-year-old American Chihuahua who just arrived from a high kill pound in New Jersey (strictly due to overcrowding), so I was offered a ride up north to beautiful Canada.

I lost my owner to old age and ended up at the local pound where I was pulled out by a wonderful lady who didn’t want to leave me there.

I’m in a foster home, still a little anxious from all these changes, but very well-behaved. I’m presently with a Chihuahua buddy, and it’s going well. I’m also ok with the house cat. I let her know who’s boss, and we’re good

I’m Nina Mork, a 10 month old “designer dog” (Maltese/Yorkshire) and I’m looking for a COMPASSIONATE adopter.

You see, I come from a horrendous, but legal “breeder” in Quebec. I was sold with NO guarantees on Hypoglycemia or Genetic diseases.

Long story short, I suffered from hypoglycemia in my first 2 months after being purchased, and I also have a severe liver shunt (https://vcacanada.com/know-your-pet/portosystemic-shunt-in-dogs), that in my case is inoperable.

I weigh a tiny 4 lbs, and I need to be fed a home-cooked diet for the rest of my life, which has a very short expectancy. I also need lactulose and occasional antibiotics, as well as certain supplements that can help me.

If all is done correctly, I may live another full year. I do not suffer, and I don’t want to be euthanized just because of my “special needs”. I’m hoping and wishing my dream of a loving home until I’m too weak to go on, will come around and smother me with love.

I’m playful, active, super affectionate and just want to be loved.

I'm Queenie, and I'm a 5-month-old Beagle. I'm full of pep and energy, but I'm a super sweet and smart girl.

Beagles are not for everyone, so think it through before you even apply. We're a hunting breed, so we need to stay active and have something to do.

Being so young, it's a plus for my future family. However, it's also a LOT of work. You have to be present enough to be able to make me become confident and well-behaved, as well as work with me.

Even though Snoopy is a "Beagle", he is not representative of the breed! Don't get fooled by the cartoon character, I'm a real Beagle!

I’m Thor! I’m strong, handsome and macho. I’m almost 8 years old and super healthy.

I’m macho because I’m not yet neutered. At my age, it won’t change that much, but for my future health, it could make a huge difference. So I will be going to the Chop Shop before we meet!

I’m quiet, well-behaved, and friendly but I don’t like babies or young kids. A baby just arrived in my home, and we’re just not a good match. So for everyone involved, I should find a home with no children.

I want to enjoy my life as the recipient of love and attention, and I’d prefer not to share that love with other dogs. As for cats, I don’t think I’d like them much. I never met any, but mmm, no.

I'm NINA, a very tiny Maltese/Yorkshire mix sold as a "Morkie", and now I need a compassionate person to give me a chance at life.

I need a surgery to live a normal and long live. Otherwise, I may not see my 1st birthday.

I'm born October 2023, and by the age of 3 months, my new Mom discovered I suffered from hypoglycemia (which specifically said no guarantee on hypoglycemia and congenital diseases). She didn't understand how guarantees work.

You see, I was purchased from a horrible place, by an innocent person who thought it was as wonderful as FB showed!

Then, by age 8 months, I was surrendered to Sophie's Dog Adoption as I "crashed" too often and her family couldn't "afford it anymore".
