Friendly reminder - please clean up after your dog so everyone can continue to enjoy the off-leash dog park. Most people are very responsible and use the dog waste bags and bin, but the occasional pile is ignored. Thank you to all for being respectful and responsible!

Dog Park Meeting Tonight!

So far we have accomplished:
✅ location
✅ Municipal permission
✅ park design with timeline
✅ fundraising strategy

New people welcome, we still have a lot to think about and work at. The goal is to get the initial fence in before winter this year.

GAME DAY!
Come join us at the first ever shinny tournament on the Souris river. We are cooking a BBQ from 12-2pm.

Souris residents have been waiting a long time for this, the first ever Souris River Bark Park! It is planned to be built spring 2022 at this beautiful central location in town. It is beside the water treatment plant on the North side below the Hillcrest Museum and the Swinging Bridge. This is a beautiful sheltered quiet location with a tranquil view for our furry friends to play. We cant wait to share and enjoy this space for years to come.

Souris Dog Park Committee is excited to share that the Town of Souris has approved the green space below the Hillcrest museum and swinging bridge beside the water treatment plant for the dog park to be built in 2022.
