Join us next week for a scavenger hunt in the trail! We had a lot of fun with this at a camp this summer, so we wanted to do it again. Join with a team of 2-3 riders to find all of the hidden items in the trail. Don’t worry about making teams, we can also make them for you. The team that finds the most items in the shortest time wins a prize! Teams will leave every 15-20 minutes depending on how many sign up. Registration is required and spots are limited.

We have a few spaces available in our fall riding lesson program:

W/T/L: Mondays 5:00 or Tuesdays 4:00

Adult W/T: Wednesdays 7:30pm

Tiny Tot 1/2 hour private: Fridays between 4-6pm

Private/Semi-private: Mondays 2:30pm, Wednesdays 2:30, Thursdays 1:00pm.

Intermediate/advanced private: Tuesdays 5:30pm

We’ve been very busy showing horses at Old Home Week! We’ll be open again at the stables on Wednesday for Junior Horse Camp. If you’re registered for Junior Camp please complete the registration form that was emailed out and send payment if you haven’t already.

If any of our riding students would like to volunteer for the camp anytime Wednesday-Friday let me know!

August 9th: TRAIL RIDE CAMP for all levels and all ages 5+. There is still space to join!

Come watch us compete at Old Home Week August 9-12th! We will be cattle penning and showing draft horses.

August 14th: fall riding lesson registration opens!

August 14-16th: Junior Horse Camp is full but we can add your name to our waitlist. Reminder that payments are due Aug. 9th.

August 19-22nd: lesson week

August 23-25th: come see us at the Dundas Plowing Match!

August 26-30th: Trail Riding Camp - still space for riders 12+ with some experience!

We had a great week at our horse show camp last week. These riders spent many hours preparing for our horse show on Friday. Everyone did a great job at the show! The costume class is always my favourite - check out these pretty awesome costumes!

Fluffy and Gus are still looking for riders to the beach on Friday. Let me know if you’d like to join! We also have lots of space on the wagon.

Check off your bucket list and join us for a trail ride to the beach on July 12th! Our day will begin at 9:00am and end at 3:00pm.

We will have two options this year:

Summer lesson students in W/T/L can join on horseback for the ride! Cost is $60+hst. Spaces are limited.

You can also join the ride on the wagon pulled by Kelly and Champ and get a ride on horseback at the beach. This option is great for beginners, younger students, or those that don’t think they could sit in a saddle for 2+ hours. All ages five to adult. Cost is $40+hst.
