I’ve had a few clients find me no problem, and some are getting lost, thanks to google. Here are the best directions. Hopefully this helps!

At Hwy 103 Exit 13, head west towards Caledonia on Hwy 325 for 6.5km, turn left onto Hwy 210 towards Greenfield. In approx 20km turn right onto Labelle Rd. Shortly after it becomes gravel turn right onto Narrows Rd West then take your 4th left onto Hidden Lake East Rd. We are civic 129, dark brown place with blue trim.

Happy First Day of May! Today is my opening day at my new shop. Thank you to everyone who has stuck with me during this move. It truly means a lot. I am so thrilled to get back to grooming! A lot of work went into this space with the help of my amazing husband, it’s cozy but it’s absolutely perfect. 💜🐶

✨️Things to ask your groomer!✨️

As I have mentioned before, the grooming industry is 🚫NOT🚫 regulated like the human cosmetology, barber, and esthetic industry.

What this means is that basically ANYONE can purchase tools from amazon, walmart, or wherever and call themselves a groomer and charge people for it...even though they have 0 training nor insurance.
There are NO formal licenses required for grooming!

There are, however, several accredited grooming schools and academys as well as apprenticeships that offer several week courses which include canine anatomy, in depth training of bathing and drying each different breeds coat, breed standard grooms, show grooms and much more.
Many of these require you to perfect bathing, conditioning and drying and have an understanding of canine anatomy before even touching sharp objects!

These are some of the major questions to ask when choosing a groomer!

❗️Don't just choose them because they are the cheapest!
❗️Don't just choose them because they have an immediate opening tomorrow.

You are handing over a living being 🐶 to someone who will be handling sharp objects around their faces, sanitary areas, etc.

You wouldn't let someone practice botox, waxing, or anything with sharp objects on yourself without a mentor present... So don't let a random person practice grooming on your dog without a mentor present!

Make sure your family's pet(s) is/are in safe, gentle and caring hands! 🫶

It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here, grooming has been keeping me busy. I have a few changes and some housekeeping I need to post. I apologize if this is a long post.

I am almost booked up for 2023, I am strongly recommending that you rebook your grooming. For doodles this will now be required to ensure you get the trim you want on your dog.
🎄 If you want your pup freshened up before Christmas I recommend booking now, I only have a few spots left. 🎄

I am having a ton of issues with people showing up late, not showing up at all. I am a small business and like many are struggling to survive and stay open. I am a one woman show, I do my best to do call reminders but have a busy home life and am very busy grooming when I’m in my shop. I can’t always guarantee that call reminders get done but I try my best. These are my new rules to help prevent this from happening.
Please arrive no more then 5 minutes before your appointment and no more then 10 minutes after your grooming appointment. If you are more then 10 minutes late dropping off for your appointment, I have the right to cancel the appointment, and reschedule, as your now pushing me into my next appointment. If this occurs you will still be responsible to pay for your grooming.
I require 24 hours notice for cancelling a grooming appointment, if this is not done, you could be charged a $40 dollar fee. Allowing me as much time as possible will allow your spot to get filled. If you just don’t show up to your appointment you will be responsible to pay for the grooming before rebooking. If this happens more then twice you will be decommissioned. I’m struggling with this, and turning people away.
Also if you are late picking up, there will be a $5 dollar charge for every 10 minutes your late. I have two little boys that rely on me to be on time to pick them up. Please don’t make me late.

💰Just want to inform everyone that I’ve met my threshold and now have to start charging HST.
Also at this time I’m also not taking on any new clients. Thanks for your understanding.
