She is still a bit shy at times, but very affectionate as you can see. Loves hanging out in the hammock and being loved on! 11 weeks old, first vaccines on board.

In honour of Pride Month, the proceeds from our monthly Angel Fund Nail Trim Clinic on June 19th will be donated to Rainbow Railroad! 🌈
Here is some information on their wonderful cause:
Rainbow Railroad is an international organization that helps LGBTQI+ people escape violence and persecution to find a path to safety.
Across more than 60 countries globally, same-sex intimacy is criminalized. This often results in state-enabled violence, discrimination in all aspects of everyday life and, in extreme cases, even the death penalty.
Rainbow Railroad steps in to provide vital support for these individuals, including the facilitation of emergency travel to safer locations. Since our inception, we’ve successfully relocated over 2,000 people to safety and provided essential services to an additional 13,000.
However, the need for our services continues to grow. This year alone, we anticipate receiving requests for help from 15,000 LGBTQI+ individuals—our highest number yet. To ensure we can meet this urgent demand and continue our work, we are reaching out to our community and allies for support, starting with our upcoming Pride Fundraiser, Solidarity in Pride.

This is a friendly reminder to please call the clinic directly if your animal is needing veterinary care. We do check our email regularly as an alternative, but your best bet for immediate assistance is via phone. Our social media pages are checked much less frequently.
We are happy to answer inquiries via Facebook and Instagram, but please note that it may take 24-48 hours for a response. We do not monitor our social media pages outside of our business hours or on weekends.

Meet Harold! Harold is a 1yr old neutered boxer mix. He is UTD on vaccines.
We have been in touch with a local shelter - they are trying to get space for him. Possibly reactive with other dogs. Unknown history with pets/kids. May be suited to an only pet home. Will likely require training. Does have some basic manners.

Thank you to Facility Plus for getting a technician to the clinic so promptly to investigate noises that were being heard behind one of our walls. The technician immediately identified the noises as baby raccoons.
A hole was cut and 5, one week old, babies were secured. The kits will be placed in a heated box so that mom can return to them, raise them for a bit longer in a place that is safe and warm, and eventually relocate them when she is ready!

Our ❤ Stray of the Week ❤ is Rolo! Rolo has been featured recently with here sister Mars, but we've decided to give them each their own spotlight! Rolo has been with us since she was 2 weeks old and has a residual eye issue from her upper respiratory infection she had when she was brought in. This does not slow her down one bit! Rolo is a rambunctious, playful and curious girl. She loves giving kisses and is the absolute sweetest! 😻 Rolo is now around 6m old and is spayed and UTD on vaccines. If you would like to meet Rolo and think she would make a great fit to your family, let us know! 🥰
