Hunting Guide for September and October of 2024

Full Time

A1Hunts Twin Lakes Inc. is World Class Big Game hunting operation located in north-central Newfoundland.
We are currently looking for a hunting guide for a period of 7 weeks during the months of September and October of 2024. Extra weeks may be available.
Equipment Provided
- The company will provide and issue a personal side-by-side ATV to be individually used and maintained by the employee throughout the season.
- The company also provides tracked Quads and Argos to retrieve game. No meat packing is necessary.
Experience and Skills
- Big game hunting skills and an active Newfoundland and Labrador Guide License are required.
- The position will require a considerable amount of walking. The employee must be in good physical condition, have clear communication skills and enjoy working with people.

Note: The company can assist you in obtaining a Newfoundland and Labrador Guide License if needed.
We offer competitive wages as well as home cooked food and comfortable lodging.
A1Hunts is a drive-in operation, and the lodge can be accessed by pickup truck or SUV.
A regular workweek begins midday Sunday through to Friday evening with Saturday off allowing you to spend two nights at home each week.

Lisa the Cook and co-owner of A1 Hunts, decided she wanted to have the option of bear burgers to go with the moose burgers in camp again this fall.
So she climbed up on one of our baits and sat for a hour and a half until this one came in. She watched it for 15 mins before deciding to take the shot.
