If you are able to help please do. This is a great rescue doing great things for their dogs π

Good Morning Everyone βοΈ I am SO NERVOUS this morning. Today the lease app goes in and we wait..... there shouldn't be any reason it doesn't go forward, but of course until everything is officially accepted and signed, there's always that chance! This photo is the view of our potential new backyard! 20 acres of paradise for the dogs to run, hike, and enjoy while they wait for their forever homes. We are so close! SO CLOSE π₯Ή
Right now we absolutely MUST raise the remaining funds. As soon as the lease is signed and accepted, we need to have $ ready to go! We had a lot of gas used yesterday with the two trips (bus trip and property trip), so we still need about $1,000 for first and last. Once achieved, we need $6,600 for 3 months prepayment as a deposit. This is a big number, BUT I KNOW WE CAN DO IT. I know you want this future as much as I do. And I can't wait to start all of the next steps into making this gorgeous property into the rescues forever home. But this is the first step, of many years forward! Please, please help us achieve that today πΎ

Bus Update: I also went to see the bus yesterday! There's a few extra things that need dealt with that I wasn't anticipating, so we've asked the seller to get an inspection done so we can get a list of things it will need in order to be safetied. Buying used, there's always going to be things that need done. As we have the potential property hopefully about to go through, this is less urgent at this time, but still something I want to pursue because of the possibilities it brings the rescue. But there's currently no rush on it. This may not be the bus we end up with, but for now I'm still working with the seller, and we'll see where it leads :-)
Dog updates:
- Sheba continues to do well! Her tail makes improvements everyday, and I'm very hopeful, as long as there's no further setbacks, that it will fully heal. I also received a surprise second Tail Saver in the mail this week! Thank you to whoever sent that! I had been wanting to fundraise for a second one to make it easier for change out in washing, but with the priority of the property, didn't post. This was a very welcome surprise, so thank you so much! Her potential applicant is still in play, they just had something very unexpected that definitely needed urgent attention. I'll be following up to see where they want to go from here. If it ends up being a long-term change, I will let you know she's accepting applications again. At the moment she's still pending. She also has her surgery coming up Tuesday for Spay/Lump removal (and possible tail). We have $1,300 on the account towards. We will need to raise the rest after we get our property secured!
- Spring is moving out! She is going to stay with alumni Brisket soon, and we are hoping that a family member might be a foster fail shortly thereafter π Fingers crossed she works her magic!
- Nox has stolen the heart of someone, and there may be another foster to adopt situation on the horizon for her too. I will be following up, and we'll see if it can move forward soon π€
- Unfortunately still no interest for Samantha or PΓ©pΓ©. I need to do up some new posts again, but I'm really hoping that they can find their forever homes before the move. While absolutely I will make sure they have accommodation set up, the house is on the property is very small, and there won't be enough room for them to have their own separate spaces. I have a plan, but I would much prefer for them to be in their forever homes! So please share their post when you see them. They are really awesome dogs, and don't deserve to keep getting overlooked just because they need to be the only pet. Please help me find their people!
Of course I would love for all the dogs to move into their forever homes instead of moving for another time with me, so if you're looking to adopt, please get an application in. There are so many wonderful dogs looking for homes, and so many more on waitlist waiting for their chance. Adoptions will continue through this time, and applications are eagerly accepted. Fall is a great time to adopt, and to get them adjusted into their new routine before the snow hits ;-) Check out all of the adoptables here: https://www.adoptapet.com/shelter/188136/available-pets?speciesIds[0]=1
Thank you so much to each and every one of you for your kindness, love and support during this very challenging past few months. I'm very hopeful that we are turning a brand new awesome page very soon. But I absolutely still can't do this without you. Please share this post far and wide today. And if you're able to donate a dollar today, we would be very grateful. Let's make today an amazing day!
