This is a GREAT enrichment treat idea!
Grab your dogs puzzle toy (Kong and west paw both have amazing options) fill it with things like plain greek yogurt, peanut butter, or even bone broth and goats milk, basically any fruits (other than grapes) and veggies then FREEZE!
After it’s fully frozen give it to your dog and watch them LOVE LIFE 🐶🤎

I don’t know about you guys but I’ve been having to wear fall jackets on my dog walks lately…😬 The mornings are especially crisp!

As it gets cooler it gets harder get out with ur fur babies. I’m here to say I’ve got all the necessary winter gear and am ready to bundle up for winter walking🥶

Did you know most dogs will highly benefit from multiple short walks a day rather than one long walk?

Multiple walks will ensure your dog is mentally and physically stimulated throughout the entire day where as one long walk will satisfy them for a certain amount of time but you will notice boredom before the day is over.

I recommend to split up your long walk into 2 brief walks, one in the morning and one in the evening. They will also benefit so highly from either a walk or play sesh in the afternoon as well! They love nothing more than when their humans interact and play with them 😊🤎

This can be difficult especially with full time work and or school. Luckily I walk dogs Monday - Friday and would be happy to meet and walk all of your pups 🤎🐶

I don’t know about you guys but this heatwave ordeal has my dogs full of all the pent up energy 😣 This is not good walking weather for us or our furry friends you guys, but there are other ways to exercise them as best as you can!

Toys 🧸
Get ur pups favourite toys and interact with them, get on their level and sit on the floor with them to play and toss their toys 😁 Not only will they love this but it will help you and your dog connect and bond even more!

Treat dispensing toys 🎾
Toys that hold treats are kind of a kill 2 birds with 1 stone situation because they satisfy your dogs in more than one way. These types of toys help ur dog become mentally stimulated from figuring out how to get the treats out as well and physically stimulated from playing with them 😊 These are a staple in my house and I highly recommend getting some of you don’t already have any!

Short backyard play seshes 😎
If you have a backyard, utilize it! Grab your dogs favourite fetch toy and find a shady spot to throw it 😊 Make sure you have lots of water sources for them to avoid dehydration in this heat! (ps: keep these play times short and have multiple of them instead of one long one!)

Did you guys know boredom in dogs can lead to many things including destructiveness, anxiety, bad behavioural habits, excessive barking, and so much more.
These issues are easily avoidable by providing your dogs with enrichment everyday! Walking, playing and enrichment toys such as treat balls and snuffle mats can and will help keep your dog(s) healthy and happy and will assure their quality of life is where we all want it to be 😁
It can be difficult to find time to do all these activities with your dog especially for people with full time jobs!

So thankful for Canada Pooch cooling bandanas, not only do they help our dog(s) stay cool and keep their body temperature normal but they allow our dogs to still get out on hot days like we’ve been having recently☀️

Hi all! I'd like to make a little post to introduce and share a bit about myself. My name is Kayla and I love all dogs, I have three dogs of my own who I love so much, Jasper, Stella, and Sophie. I work in the pet industry which allows me to meet new dogs with different personalities quite often. I am 20 years old and love to being active doing things like swimming, biking, running, walking, and hiking.
