Sublime stables 5 year old mare Majestic Oops will be running at Oaklawn Park on Saturday. Allowance race $130k purse. We have a good shot if she runs well.

Sublime stables has beautiful horse manure for sale. $65 for a 1/2 ton load. $75 for a 3/4 ton truck box, and $80 for a 3500 load. We will deliver a single axle load 7 cubic meters for $200 per load, plus transport at $4.50 per km. This is wonderful for gardens, new grass areas etc. Landscapers are welcome for a discounted price. Must take at least 50m3.

I was originally disappointed with our 4th place finish. Looking at the numbers Majestic Oops ran a 93. That’s her 3rd best. We ran into a monster, Where’s my Ring. The world’s top male horse National Treasure, his best number ever is 117. The horse that won our race ran a 116, world class numbers.

Janet Kropp and Sublime stables have Majestic Oops running at Oaklawn Park Saturday. Once again that darn Val Brinkerhoff has her grade 3 winning horse in the race. Good luck Val, safe trip for all.

Before and After of Captain!
“How Captain gained 100lbs in an hour” (just kidding! But it looks like it 😉)

Before is the top and after is the bottom.
This guy had a lot going on. Not to mention he had thrown a shoe earlier that day so he had quite a bit of compensation through his right side to mediate that left front.
His diaphragm was stuck in an inhalation on the right side, his right ilieum in a ventral outflare, withers in a right extension, to name a few. His sacrum was unable to move in a depression which was causing quite a lot of compensation through the rest of the body.
Captain also had quite a bit of immobility through his cranial/spinal and sacral structures on his right side which was corrected with cranio sacral therapy.

After the treatment he was able to carry himself with much more ease, holding himself properly and being able to breathe.

3 year old Sammy showing how amazing TB's can be. He has been exposed to all the noises of construction and we don't take away any of the scary things in the arena.

All of our TB's are exposed to just about everything, we strongly believe in exposing them as much as we can, so they are ready for anything that might come their way.

The Effect of a Nervous Human.... one of my favorite studies!

Researchers at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences looked at the effect of an increased heart rate in a human on the horse they were riding or handling.

Here's a link from the abstract... "Each horse–human pair walked or rode between points A and B (30 m) four times on each test occasion.

However, just before the fourth pass, participants were told that an umbrella⛱ would be opened as they rode, or led, the horse past the assistant.

The umbrella was not opened, so this pass was no different to the previous control occasions, but nevertheless there was an increase in HR for both the person AND the horse."

We affect our horses.

When looking at any training "issue", our first responsibility is to to know ourselves and explore if there's something we could do better.

Majestic Oops ran a great race yesterday at Oaklawn Park . The horse that beat her has won 7 of 9 races at Oaklawn, including a 250k stakes race. Running second by 3/10 of a second and closing is very promising.
