Job Opportunity: Part-Time Dog Walker
Location: Squamish, BC

Are you passionate about working with dogs and enjoy spending time outdoors? We are seeking a reliable and responsible Part-Time Dog Walker to join our team and care for our furry friends in the beautiful Squamish area.

Job Description:

As a Dog Walker, you will be responsible for providing daily outdoor adventures for our dogs, including hiking in scenic forested areas. Your primary duties will include safely transporting dogs to and from hikes, managing group walks, and ensuring the safety and well-being of each dog in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely drive a van or pickup truck to transport dogs to designated hiking locations.
Lead group hikes and walks, ensuring that dogs are well-behaved and comfortable.
Maintain a positive and safe environment for dogs, ensuring they receive appropriate exercise and attention.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Assist in any necessary dog care or training under the guidance of the team.
Qualifications:

Must have a valid driver’s license and a comfortable driving a van or pickup truck.
Availability to work weekdays between 8:45 AM and 4:00 PM; you can choose your preferred workdays (3-4 days per week, with flexibility for additional hours).
Experience with dogs is preferred, though not mandatory; a love for dogs is essential.
Must be dependable, punctual, and capable of managing dogs in an outdoor setting.
A strong commitment to providing excellent care and ensuring the safety of dogs at all times.
