⚠️ Do you know how glue traps work?
Glue traps are not designed to kill, so when animals are trapped on them, they suffer for days and eventually die from dehydration, starvation or exhaustion, or may attempt to free themselves by chewing off their stuck limbs. 😢
Help stop cruelty! Say NO 🚫 to glue traps.

Feeding wildlife might seem like a good idea, but is it? 🤔 When you feed wild animals, you may harm the animals you intend to help! How?
⚠️Human-sourced food may lack the nutrients wild animals need which can lead to malnutrition, bone deformation, and even death
⚠️When people feed wildlife, wild animals may become habituated increasing the chances of negative human-wildlife encounters
Learn why wildlife feeding is not a good idea!

This is Casper.
Casper is an Indian Ringneck Parrot. This playful bundle of energy is on the lookout for a forever family that will cherish his/her gentle spirit and curious nature.
Casper is a sensitive and social bird who thrives on interaction. He/she loves to engage in playful antics, and certainly enjoys being the centre of attention. With an incredibly inquisitive mind, Casper is often eagerly awaiting the next opportunity to explore.
In addition to Casper's playful and energetic nature, he/she also has a big heart, and loves to spend quality time bonding with his/her human/s. Whether it's cuddling up for some quiet time or sharing a laugh with his/her silly tricks, Casper is always ready to shower you with love.
Our lovely feathered friend has a zest for life and enjoys flying around (occasionally), playing games, and exploring his/her surroundings. Casper thrives in social settings, so a spacious play area, plenty of stimulating toys, and lots of social time will be sure to keep Casper happy. He/she would love a calm and quiet household where his/her people are able to spend lots of quality time together.
What Casper needs:
- A loving and patient home where he/she can feel secure and loved
- Plenty of cognitive and physical stimulation through toys, puzzles, and social interaction
- A spacious enclosure that allows Casper to play, climb, and stretch with ease
- A human companion that is experienced with birds and enthusiastic to engage Casper in daily social activity to help him/her thrive

We can't get enough of these two. Snoop and Martha are always finding something new to explore and yesterday, Snoop had a Starbucks disposable cup removed from him that he stole from a recycling container, and off he hopped with the cup in his mouth, very proud of himself.
It is constant antics, stealing banana peels, jumping into garbage cans, and able to get back out. Lately, it has been enjoying treats hidden between stacking cups.
Rabbits are smart and when they are social and food motivated, being able to teach them tricks is possible.
Last week it was chasing down Martha as she ran past staff with a bag of rabbit treats in her mouth. We are not sure how she even got a hold of them.
It is sort of like having puppies that never grow up, but the poops are much easier to deal with.
