Happy New Year Everyone! 🎉

I hope you all had a great holiday closing out 2024 and bringing in the new year 2025 😊

This new year brings some new policies I wanted to share with everyone.
Most of you have been great at giving me a heads up about canceling or rescheduling appointments. A reminder to all that I need at LEAST 24hrs notice for canceling or rescheduled appointments. The more notice the better!
Notice that is given in less then 24hrs of their original appointment time will result in a missed/last minute cancelation fee.

☆Starting January 1st 2025 any missed appointments or last minute cancelations will be CHARGED FULL REGULAR GROOMING PRICE☆
Booking and confirming an appointment is an agreement to paying this fee should it apply. Fee must be paid BEFORE your pups next scheduled grooming.

We will also be implementing and enforcing our 3 strike policy. Due to our schedule and wait list being in high demand, Missing or no showing for 3 appointments will result in a the cancelation of further appointments. Please understand we have tried our best to accommodate everyone on their schedules by booking ahead in advance. Commitment of my time in my schedule is asked to be reflected in your commitment of honoring your appointments. Of course I understand family emergencies do happen which is understandable.

Something new this year I will be looking into will be about different payment options. I'll be looking into different options for payment for 2025 and onwards. Until I'm able to fully figure out what that will look like I will be sticking with the normal payment process. I will ask for people to please start getting into the habit of sending payment BEFORE leaving to come pick up your pup. I will be giving clients a 30min heads up for pick up time to give more time for those to send payment before coming to pick up your furry loved one(s).

That's a Wrap for 2024!🎉

I want to say thank you to all my wonderful clients for your kindness and generous gifts this holiday season. I deff felt the love!
Thank you for trusting me with the care of your special family members ❤️ it's a very special thing to be the one who people trust with their four legged loved ones and I couldn't be happier that you chose me this year and every year.
It really means more then I can express in words.
Your pups all hold a special place in my heart🤍

I recently learned that today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day🌈❤️🐾
To all my special furry friends who have left us to go over the Rainbow Bridge, you all hold a special little piece of my heart. I remember you all and miss each of your funny personalities. I'm lucky I get to be in a position to be able to create special little bonds with the dogs I see regularly. Each one is near and dear to my heart and when it's their time to go, my heart hurts and my eyes shed tears for the special moments we have had.
My Boy Barkley holds a huge piece of my heart over that Bridge. I miss him everyday.🥺❤️🐾

Thank you for sharing your pets with me and giving me the chance to create those special bonds and moments. It's the biggest perk of the job.❤️

Hey Everyone!

Hope you all had a great Long Weekend.
I have started my bookings for next year for my regular clients. If you haven't done so already, please send me a text with your preferred grooming schedule and preferred day of the week you'd like, and I will be going through and booking everyone for next year. Once I have all my regulars booked I will then be able to see if I have room to open up for some new clients.
Please have patience with me as I have ALOT of messages and clients to go through to set up their schedules (while juggling work life and mom life... You super moms know how it is😉)
Sending a text message is best as I can look back on our conversation for grooming schedules.

Stay tuned to our Facebook and Instagram account as I will be posting about some new updates coming into play for next year.

Mr. Barks is officially FULLY BOOKED until January 2025.🐾

At this time I am still not accepting new clients for next year but I do have a wait list for new clients for 2025. If you'd like to be added to that wait list to become a new client when there is an opening then send me a text at 604-892-4364 with your name, dogs name, breed of your dog and best number to reach you at.
A friendly reminder that since our schedule is very full and most days are overbooked, grooming times may take longer then usual. Our main goal as always at Mr. Barks is to make sure dogs are treated with kindness and respect. If you're grooming time takes longer then normal it is due us having a full schedule but still maintaining our standards to treat the dogs with love and respect. Remember these are live animals and I will not rush them.
Cancelations must be given with at least 24hrs notice or there will be a fee. Fees vary depending on size of the Dog. Please note that if you do have to cancel your appointment, I do not have any other options for rescheduling. I can try my best to switch your appointment with someone else who is already booked but that is not always a guarantee.

Nails trims still available by appointment only.

Hello amazing Peeps!

Holy moly our schedule is filling up soooo fast for the rest of the year. At this time we are still not accepting any new clients for full grooms. Nail trims and Bath&Nails still available for existing clients on certain days.
Nail trims are by appointment only on Friday and Saturday evenings.

☆☆VERY LIMITED SPOTS LEFT THIS YEAR☆☆
At the moment we only have 16 SPOTS left for full grooms for the REST OF THE YEAR.
All available spots are in October and November.
December is FULL.
