I recently learned that today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day🌈❤️🐾
To all my special furry friends who have left us to go over the Rainbow Bridge, you all hold a special little piece of my heart. I remember you all and miss each of your funny personalities. I'm lucky I get to be in a position to be able to create special little bonds with the dogs I see regularly. Each one is near and dear to my heart and when it's their time to go, my heart hurts and my eyes shed tears for the special moments we have had.
My Boy Barkley holds a huge piece of my heart over that Bridge. I miss him everyday.🥺❤️🐾

Thank you for sharing your pets with me and giving me the chance to create those special bonds and moments. It's the biggest perk of the job.❤️

Hey Everyone!

Hope you all had a great Long Weekend.
I have started my bookings for next year for my regular clients. If you haven't done so already, please send me a text with your preferred grooming schedule and preferred day of the week you'd like, and I will be going through and booking everyone for next year. Once I have all my regulars booked I will then be able to see if I have room to open up for some new clients.
Please have patience with me as I have ALOT of messages and clients to go through to set up their schedules (while juggling work life and mom life... You super moms know how it is😉)
Sending a text message is best as I can look back on our conversation for grooming schedules.

Stay tuned to our Facebook and Instagram account as I will be posting about some new updates coming into play for next year.

Thank you to you all for being... well... hands down amazing! I know I say this alot, but I really am lucky and blessed to have such an amazing clientele and community support. Much love to all ❤️🐾

Mr. Barks is officially FULLY BOOKED until January 2025.🐾

At this time I am still not accepting new clients for next year but I do have a wait list for new clients for 2025. If you'd like to be added to that wait list to become a new client when there is an opening then send me a text at 604-892-4364 with your name, dogs name, breed of your dog and best number to reach you at.
A friendly reminder that since our schedule is very full and most days are overbooked, grooming times may take longer then usual. Our main goal as always at Mr. Barks is to make sure dogs are treated with kindness and respect. If you're grooming time takes longer then normal it is due us having a full schedule but still maintaining our standards to treat the dogs with love and respect. Remember these are live animals and I will not rush them.
Cancelations must be given with at least 24hrs notice or there will be a fee. Fees vary depending on size of the Dog. Please note that if you do have to cancel your appointment, I do not have any other options for rescheduling. I can try my best to switch your appointment with someone else who is already booked but that is not always a guarantee.

Nails trims still available by appointment only.

Hello amazing Peeps!

Holy moly our schedule is filling up soooo fast for the rest of the year. At this time we are still not accepting any new clients for full grooms. Nail trims and Bath&Nails still available for existing clients on certain days.
Nail trims are by appointment only on Friday and Saturday evenings.

☆☆VERY LIMITED SPOTS LEFT THIS YEAR☆☆
At the moment we only have 16 SPOTS left for full grooms for the REST OF THE YEAR.
All available spots are in October and November.
December is FULL.

I have lots of clients asking how many bookings they can do at once, and I encourage you all to book as many as possible. I have many clients booked for the full year, which is amazing 😍

☆Due to high volume, I have decided at this time that I will no longer be accepting new clients for full grooms☆

I will, however, always take on new clients for nail trims as well as face and sanitary trims.

Hey guys!
Figured I'd give you all a quick little Brody update.
He is doing amazing! Almost fully healed by now. He's enjoying walks again, was able to play in the snow (his favorite) and is no longer limping!
I'm so happy he is no longer limping at all on walks. He doesn't have to walk down the stairs sideways anymore. He also... after many many years, has started lifting his leg to p*e again!! Sounds silly but that's a big thing. He had 3 lumps removed. One giant one from his side aswell as a smaller one from his side. Another large lumps from his groin which I never realized was why he stopped lifting his leg to p*e. Well not anymore! He's a full man again, lifting his leg and all 😆
Thanks so much to everyone for your support, donations and well wishes for my boy.

Quick Brody Update for you all.
He is doing great!! I swear he has forgotten that he has a bunch of stitches in as he's ready to go for a run if I would let him. I think he's a bit mad at me that he's had a very boring few days of just sleeping inside, but I promised to take him for a big adventure when he's all healed up.
We are hoping to get his drains out tomorrow, but only time will tell! 🤞🐶

Brodys surgery went Great today!! ❤️ I am soo soo happy and proud of my boy. He is home now and resting.... with the toddler barricaded away from him so he can have some peace and quiet😊
The BIGGEST thank you to Eagleview Veterinary Hospital staff especially Dr. Armstrong for taking such good care of my baby. Easing my fears and anxiety and doing a phenomenal job. Eagleview and it's Staff is seriously a true gem in the squamish community❤️

To everyone who helped me with being able to get this surgery done for Brody.
Now for some sweet puppy face hugs and kisses to make up for the ones I missed out on today😘

Well, Brody and I got our Christmas Wish!
His surgery is happening this Tuesday at the amazing .
After weeks of collecting, sorting and bagging we only have about 20 bags left to drop off.
So far I have dropped off 85 bags of cans and plastics and brought in just under 500 glass bottles.
I'm still waiting for lots of bags to be counted but the total so far just from recycling is around $800!!🤯🤯

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that has donated! Whether it was donating cans or by giving cash or etransfer donations. You have all been so amazingly generous and I can't say thank you enough!

I will keep everyone posted on Brodys recovery🤞 please send Brody lots of well wishes on Tuesday❤️🐶
