Well people, it's that time again, where we start making x-mas appts, a lot of you have already booked out your appts for the year, that's great, for those who haven't yet, please remember we book up quickly, so reach out to make those appts when you can.
Also, we try to send out reminders as much as possible, but being human we sometimes miss one, or forget, ultimately it's on you to remember your appt, we realize everyone has busy lives, we are also busy, and we try our best to keep on top of these things. Please keep that in mind when booking with us, put a reminder in your phone, or if you can't remember when your appt is, reach out to us to find out.

Jake's is a one on one grooming salon, meaning we don't have other dogs in the shop with other dogs unless it's a family of dogs, we don't use kennels, and we don't keep dogs here once they are groomed. If you have an appointment the same time as your dog, and you aren't able to pick your dog up once they are groomed, we ask that you respect our schedule and either make arrangements for your dog to be picked up, or reschedule your appt with us. We don't have space to keep your dog here while another dog is in the shop, not every dog gets along with others, which is why we set the shop up as a one on one salon. Thank you for your time.

Miss Chanel dropped by for an air condtioned groom, and a cool blow dry, in and out in an hour and 45 mins. She is a fashionista, look at those legs, those pom poms, stylin' , smilin', she kisses herself she's so pretty.

I have been grooming this family's dogs for over 20 years, their kids were babies, now the kids are grown with their own kids, and dogs, generational grooming. Behr is an absolute goofball, a real charmer!

Howie the golden, his 1st big boy bath. It's very important to groom dogs as young as possible, especially bigger breed dogs, so they get used to the whole procedure, from the bath, nail trims, to the dryer. He did really well for his 1st time with us.

While Jake's doesn't offer evening grooming, we do occasionally offer Sunday grooming, it will be based on as needed, so we can accommodate those with a different schedule than ours. Regular clients will be given priority, but we are also accepting new clients. You can message us here, or call us at 709-748-2275

Little Louie dropped in for a quick tidy, we took his batteries out for grooming, he is busier than a blue arsed fly.

Emmet and Lily, their former owners passed away and they ended up in a shelter in Grandfalls, then through social media, they got adopted to a family here in St John's. They came to Jake's for grooming, because we offer cage free, one on one grooming, both their grooms took just over an hour. Two little sweethearts. They have only been with their new family a few weeks, but they are totally bonded already.
