Locally made aromatherapy candles, bath products and more. Today, Cosmos uses 100% pure soy, beeswax, aromatherapy, herbs and flowers.

"Cosmos Candles" began in 1998 when a university friend of mine taught me how to recycle used candles by melting down old candles and adding Crayola crayons. Each Cosmos product is unique in that no two products I create are alike. "Cosmos" was chosen as the name of my company because I truly believe in the cosmic forces of the universe. Every person, every action and every word can impact the world…Today, ’Cosmos’ is trying to make a small positive difference for women living in violence in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Since 1998, Cosmos had developed into a means to help victims of domestic violence

Together, with some of my local artisan friends, we support victims of domestic violence, by donating our wares and raising money to create gift baskets that are given to women’s shelters across the province, as gifts for children to give to their mothers. Yesterday's snow and hail here in the St. John's area inspired me to get back into the workshop to make some new firestarters. Made from pine cones, locally grown dried botanicals (rose petals, mint, lavender & chamomile), and aromatherapy wax...they're the perfect addition to your fireplace, wood stove or camp fire. Hi everyone. I've had so many inquiries about purchasing candles but I'm only now getting the opportunity to post them all. My apologies for taking so long, but with back to school and back to work, it's been a crazy month. Cosmos has already sold a lot of the newly crafted candles/products and they've all been delivered locally or shipped Nationally & Internationally (woohoo!).
