Cedar Row Farm Sanctuary took in their first rescued farm animals in 1999. We are a small, family run sanctuary and rescue. Cedar Row has no paid employees and is run by dedicated volunteers. We are not open to the public but we offer regular work visits and 2 annual open houses a year.

We’ve had a lot of people asking why Maurice is so fluffy! He’s a Mangalitsa pig, a Hungarian breed known for their woolly coats, which help keep them warm during cold winters ❄️🐷

Penny is almost 17 years old! As some of you know, she’s been living with arthritis, which has been getting harder on her as she gets older. We aren’t sure how much time she has left, but she’s cared for every day and has been able to be part of a family who loves her. ❤️🐄 and Coretta is right by her side, giving her signature licks!

Join us Saturday, November 8th from 11am to 2pm for a work visit at Cedar Row!

If you’re 16 or older and want to help animals directly, this is the perfect opportunity! Be ready to roll up your sleeves, meet like-minded people, and make a real difference in animals’ lives (like our cute little Luna, pictured here!)

We’ll be preparing for the winter, so your help will be extra meaningful. The day will wrap up with a vegan potluck, our last one until spring, which is always a fun highlight!
