Cedar Row Farm Sanctuary took in their first rescued farm animals in 1999. We are a small, family run sanctuary and rescue. Cedar Row has no paid employees and is run by dedicated volunteers. We are not open to the public but we offer regular work visits and 2 annual open houses a year.

Join us Saturday, June 6th from 11am-2pm for another volunteer work day and vegan potluck at the sanctuary 🐷💚

Fransesca and the rest of the rescued residents would love your help! If you’re 16 or older and looking for a meaningful way to support animals, come spend the day making a hands-on difference around the sanctuary.

After the work is done, we’ll gather together for a vegan potluck, so bring a dish to share and enjoy an afternoon with fellow animal lovers.

Bruno showing off the wallow he dug out for himself the other day 🐷💦 We can’t actually fill this one because our hoses don’t reach this far out (don’t worry, he has other wallows closer to the barn 😄), but with all the rain we’re getting today, this one is filling right up for him to enjoy! He will be so happy with himself!

Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers, including those whose motherhood was decided for them, and whose babies were taken from them too soon❤️

Coretta is one of countless mothers used in the dairy industry, where cows are repeatedly impregnated so their milk can be sold for human consumption. Dairy cows are often only around two years old when they give birth for the first time, still babies themselves in so many ways.

Their calves are often taken away shortly after birth, while mothers call and search for them. Cows form deep bonds with their babies, despite how often people dismiss or misunderstand them.

Today we celebrate Coretta and all mothers who deserved the chance to raise and love their babies in peace 🌷
