Hey everyone, I'm thinking of hatching some Nashwaak Queens soon. They are our hybrid layers of Welsummer and barred rock, and are similar to a Welbar. Guaranteed female day old chicks.

Please let me know in the comments below if you would be interested in chicks for the first of February! If I have enough interest I'll start a hatch!

We are huge supporters of Opal Family Services as they have been supporting us and our little farm man. This is a great charity to support this Christmas. Opal is a lifeline for so many families and caregivers and also the children and adults that receive care from the Opal Family Services staff. They go above and beyond, making our children feel loved, safe and have fun! Going to Opal Family Services for just a couple of hours a week is the highlight of many of these kids and teens, and adults lives. Donations are also being accepted if you do not wish to participate in the auction but still want to make a contribution! You can do so by clicking on the donate button on the top right of the auction page. Donations of $15 or more will receive a tax receipt.

A video from spring of our ducks, taking them out a little pond for the day, bringing them in at night. Until they grew in their adult feathers.

Co-parenting hens! These sisters are both raising two chicks together! They are never more than 5 feet apart. They feed the chicks together, roost together, protect each other and the chicks together! It's amazing to watch. They have been doing this for at least 2 weeks. I am going to tag them, and set eggs under them at the same time next year and see if they do it again.

Mommy hen taking her chicks outside for the first time. One little chick was left inside and she went back and got it. The other two chicks are drinking from the water container on the ground to the right of the screen.

*******Owners found, working on it now! thanks for sharing! ATTENTION STANLEY FARMERS Cows showed up at our house this morning, at least 7. They have home made ear tags with "J" on marked on them. Contact 2599344, please share this post.
