‼️**ALERT**‼️
Unfortunately, due to the severe temperatures, our water main broke sometime yesterday, flooding our entire crawl space with 3' of water.😭 Beyond the damages to insulated ducting, etc, this posed some significant immediate safety hazards, as we have a fair bit of electrical that runs under the building.
Kyle at Rene's Septic pumped a total of nearly 6800 gallons of water out earlier today (only one of the heroes today)!
Now we are in the hands of our trusted electricians and plumbers, who are working hard to get us back up and running ASAP. We hope to be functional and RE-OPEN for our furry friends by next week!

Top Tier Electric has set up safe, temporary lines to ensure we have power for our server, internet, and phones. While we are not yet fully operational, we are still replying to messages and booking appointments.

STCc's Whiskers Lodge is honoured to welcome 6 of the kittens! They are happy, healthy, and settling into their new temporary home. We have learned their names! We have Jenny, Lana, Lara, Fifteen, Blair, and Wildest Dreams!
We have volunteered our entire Whiskers Lodge boarding facility to any SAAR cats in need of care. WE ARE STILL OFFERING CAT GROOMING SERVICES to our lovely feline clients, but we are reserving our boarding facility for our pre-booked boarding clients and SAAR's urgent needs as they arise.
*All cats in our care are vet-checked, healthy, and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Right now, SAAR urgently needs monetary donations. We understand that many are not in a position to contribute in this way, but even sharing this (and other) post helps! It's amazing what a community can do when we band together!

WE’VE EVOLVED! S**g to Chic is an all-breed, full-service Grooming Salon and Boutique. We now have 2 distinct areas of service in our salon. Our ‘softer approach’ grooming salon and our Boutique, now serving not only your dog’s need to health and wellness, but your own as well! We have chosen to take a very Integrative Approach to pet ownership.
We opened in 2012 on Main St. here in Steinbach and we have grown and evolved with our clients to serve your needs best. We moved to our permanent location and you can find us at 232 Reimer Ave, straight across from City Hall. We are passionate about your dogs as well as you! For nearly a decade, we have been serving the pets and families of our local area and far beyond. We are a team of 4 passionate and highly skilled stylists and one equally as passionate apprentice/assistant as support. Beyond a superior cut/style/de-shed and a fully supportive experience, our main focus is your pets total health, happiness, safety and continued grooming success. We are highly skilled in all facets of grooming from superior de-shed's, utilitarian trims all the way to full show styles. We specialize in health and behavior challenges, trauma, grooming rehabilitation/desensitization, medical limitations/monitoring as well as getting each and every puppy started off right for a lifetime of grooming success.
A little history lesson here - We are a grooming salon that specializes in the most difficult and hard to manage dogs. Our passion, and compassion grows daily from the new cases we see and the rehabilitations we get to play an integral part in. We have seen moms and dads go from feeling defeated to supported and encouraged through our knowledge, ‘softer approach’ as well as the line of CBD Oil we began offering in our Boutique for the most stressed canine cases. After a very short while, we brought on the H**p Heal line of CBD made for us humans on the other end of the leash!
Here's what happened - Our team is led by myself, Rhonda. I, as so many of our wonderful clients and stylists alike have faced a wide range of health challenges. Some lists are shorter than others, my list is a long one. I, like so many have struggled to find the balance between big pharma and more holistic products and treatments. Years of service in our community, my personal holistic journey, SO many conversations of shared ailments, bad pain days, tears and defeat finally came together. We began to hear the radical client testimonies from the H**p4Paws CBD line we brought on and the quality of life it was giving back to these special case dogs! That was our launching point and we haven't looked back. We brought on the H**p Heal line immediately for owners as well, to immediate rave reviews. We have since launched (both in-store and now online) many new alternative items for our clients' personal use.
We are passionate about offering you a space where you can be treated with the same compassion along side these special dogs that need it the most; THAT became our new calling.
Dogs are a man's best friend, and we are theirs. There's beauty in that partnership and we believe in providing the best care and products for BOTH!
