Pine Ridge Bullmastiffs

Pine Ridge Bullmastiffs We are bullmastiff breeders in NS, Canada since 2007 - we are active in showing our dogs in both CKC
(3)

Pineridge Bullmastiff's is located outside of Stewiacke, NS Canada we are settled on a quiet 10 acre hobby farm that our dogs share with our horses. Our goal is to produce sound healthy dogs of both type and temperment. We have been told by our puppy owners, vets, and obedience trainers, that the temperament of our pups is fantastic. We are very proud of this and attribute their good nature to be

ing properly socialized from day one. We are very proud to be producing dogs that conform to the breed standard with substance, type, temperment and correct conformation which we have proven not only in the show ring but also in the whelping box...

Our puppies/dogs are only placed in pre-approved homes, preference is given to show homes, however as realistic breeders we only expect 2-3 show prospects out of each litter depending on litter size. We take great pride in having quality bullmastiffs in the show ring and our breeding program, but for us the most important part is having each and every puppy in a loving forever home. We do not take reservations based on color/sex preference alone, we cannot guarantee that just because a puppy is the color/sex that you like that he or she would be a good fit for your family. It is more important for us to provide you with a puppy that has the energy level and personality that will best match your needs. Litter evaluations are done between 7-8 weeks of age after that we will decide where each puppy will be going and who will be staying with us. Reservations are highly recommended as waiting lists start before puppies are even born. We put all our love into each litter, every Pine Ridge puppy is very special! We are always available to provide support and to answer any questions, we always look forward to updates and watching the puppies grow in their new families.

Fellow breeder wrote this and I could not agree more.

Today I would like to talk about taking your dog to the vet.
One of my biggest Pet Peeves is while I am waiting to see the vet and other owners let their dog approach every other dog waiting!
This is one of the worst things you can do!!!
Think about it.
The reason you go to the vet is one of two things. Your dog is sick or injured or it is there for a wellness check.
If your dog is sick or injured, it should not be interacting with other dogs. What if your dog had kennel cough or parvo or some other highly infectious ailment? What if the other dog was infected with something?
If your dog is injured it may act very defensive because it feels it can’t defend itself if another dog comes close.
While I am at the vet with any of my dogs, I DO NOT let my dogs sniff/ greet/ approach another dog at all!!!!
If someone is letting their dog approach my dog, I will ask them to stay away. You have to look out for your dog.
If the waiting room is too busy, then go back to your car and ask the receptionist to call you when it is your turn.
The receptionist will do their best to avoid any issues in the waiting area, however, it is your responsibility to take care of your dog.
