Happy new year everyone! Was lovely to celebrate first day of 2025 with a big trail ride featuring the first trail ride for the the handsome Luca and his person, Lisa. She saved him from a killpen in Texas, where he was headed for slaughter, and shipped him here at great expense. A big risk for a total unknown... but he is charming us all with his kind eyes, gentle nature and willing attitude. A new year, new hope and new adventures ahead for Luca and us all. Hello 2025!

Was so lovely to have this wonderful duo out for a ride this week! These 2 very inspiring young women founded the largest Equine Rescue in the US, Colby's Crew Rescue. They house approx 500 horses on 4 QT farms, all funded by private donations. Listening to them share about their projects and their dreams for combatting horse slaughter was really impressive. The good news story we needed from South of the border. Be sure to visit their site, be inspired, and maybe donate to a great cause.
