Call us to book your pets annual check up. Early detection is key. Also keeping your pet up to date on vaccines helps protect them too.
Unfortunately, animals aren't immune to developing cancer. In fact, almost half of dogs over the age of 10 will develop cancer. Early detection, diagnosis and treatment, are key to a better outlook. Annual veterinary checkups help to monitor your pet's health and catch any potential concerns. This is a reminder to book your pet's annual exam.

It takes at least 12 weeks to kill all of the fleas on your pet as well as new fleas emerging from an infested home environment. Consistent flea control on all pets in your home helps prevent fall flea infestations. Talk to your veterinarian about #FleaControl.

Our hospital was opened in 1993 when our original mixed animal practice in Mitchell expanded into Stratford to offer services exclusively to pet owners.
Our team is committed to providing the best care possible for your pets. We strongly believe in the benefits of quality preventative health care. All staff members participate regularly in continuing education to stay current on the latest technological, pharmaceutical and nutritional developments for our patients.
Our facility is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment. This helps our doctors diagnose and treat most problems as effectively as possible. This is often critical for sick or injured animals.
Just one of the things that makes Coventry Animal Hospital so unique is that we have separate dog and cat rooms, which can reduce the stress levels of an anxious pet.
We are very proud of our caring team of veterinary health care professionals. Several veterinarians work here at Coventry Animal Hospital. If you wish to consult with one of them specifically please advise our friendly client care specialists and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.
We also offer a small animal mobile vet service, accredited by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario to accommodate your needs. Services include, annual examinations, triage for sick pets and end of life care.
If you have a concern about your pet’s health but aren’t sure you should bring him or her in, don’t hesitate to give us a call at (519) 273-3471.
Find out more about our team by visiting our Team Page.
