Since starting my foster journey in November of 2016, I've hosted over thirty cats (Mulder, Scully, Cindy, Buffy, Kara, Pippi, Wilbur, Olive, Reese, Humphrey, Bogart, Candlewick, Idris, Leonard, Pumpkin, Georgie, Lucky, Poppet, Magnolia and The Grove Kittens Linden, Birch, Juniper, Hazel and Gingko, Maeve, Nicholas, Bond, Dwayne, Bucky, Ben, Limpy, Maisie, Dallas, Jazz, Duchess, Huggy, Powder, Kahlua, and DaVinci). I have loved every single one of them, but it is easy to see why I can't keep them all! Most of you won't be able to adopt. But you can still help get my fosters adopted! Good Morning! A little Kahlua snuggle time before I start work today. I have had a few people ask about adoption...Mr. K is still healing and finishing his antibiotics after his surgery. He is healing well, and I don't want to jeopardize that. So we have to wait. Don't worry! I will make a clear announcement when he is ready to be adopted, and explain the steps necessary to apply. Just be patient a little bit longer! #felinefriendsnetwork #stratfordontario

When Kahlua isn't watching the world out the window, he loves nothing more than to flop on the ground purr, and ask for pets. His tummy is not a trap, but he does prefer ha ing his upper chest and ears rubbed.

Powder is still shy with new people ("stranger danger!"), but once he realizes he's safe, he really warms up. Powder lives for pets and attention, and will come running. He won't leave until he has had enough rubs. He also has a quiet but strong purr.

Now that I have been sharing Duchess with you for a bit, it's time to let you all know she is available to adopt! Duchess is about 8 months old. She might be as old as a year, but no more than that. She's still very much a kitten. She loves to snuggle up to me and then give herself a tongue bath. She wants to make friends with my cat, Titania, but is being rebuffed. I think she would enjoy a friendly feline companion. She arrived very thin but is filling out nicely, and her appetite has reduced so she is no longer inhaling her food. She does prefer wet over dry, and shows and interest in people food but so far has not attempted to steal any. She loves to play and run about, as kittens do! Her favourite place appears to be the window, where she can keep track of the neighbourhood birds, squirrels, rabbits, and people. Duchess is very friendly and purrs easily, at a simple touch. She is easily picked up.for snuggles and can be pet all over. Hello! I'm a Foster Cat Mom, in conjunction with the Feline Friends Network here in Stratford. This page is to highlight the kittens and cats I'm fostering, from their first night to when they are adopted. Come along the journey with me! When they are ready to be adopted, I will post that to this page along with all the details. Currently adopting a cat is $125 and includes a spay/neuter, all the necessary vaccines, de-worming, and often a microchip as well (depending on the vet). The cost goes towards care for all our fosters. Since starting, I've hosted fourteen cats (Mulder & Scully, Cindy, Buffy, Kara, Pippi & Wilbur, Olive, Reese, Humphrey & Bogart, Lenny, Idris, and Pumpkin). Most of you won't be able to adopt.
