📣🐩The Stratford Perth Humane Society is hosting their annual Paws in the Park event on August 20th at 125 Griffith Rd.

🐕🐾This year’s event they are introducing a Paws Got Talent dog show, where the general public can register (and fundraise) and show off their pup’s best skills or attributes. We will have a variety of prizes up for grabs, including a $400 BBQ and a $100 prepaid Visa.

Come join us at our Stratford Centre (125 Griffith Rd.) on August 20th from 10:00am – 5:00pm for a full day of fun for all ages! Here is a full list of activities planned for Paws in the Park:

MISSING: it appears our second wheelbarrow has gone missing. If anyone has information, or just happened to borrow it, please return it when you have a chance.

While we VERY much appreciate everyone picking up after their doggo... this isn't really what we had in mind.

Remember... if you don't toss this in the bin, SOMEBODY has to. Our volunteers do quite enough.

Garbage bins are located by the front gate. We appreciate you working with us to keep our dog park safe and clean.

This may be an end to our white, snowy fields (if Mother Nature is on Team Dog Park). But that means things are gonna get pretty muddy for a while.

Keep that in mind when you head to the dog park. Consider a blanket or hammock for your back seat, keep a towel on hand, and be aware of the local Dog Washes around town (Pet Valu has a good one).

ATTENTION: City of Stratford was unable to complete the tree removal last week due to unexpected weather issues. They're returning this coming Monday and Tuesday to finish this work.

During this time, the woodsy area of the park will be closed. There may be a duration of time that the entire park will need to be temporarily closed off.
