Our Senior Pets are our absolute FAVORITE and we are celebrating them all month long! As pets age over 7 years they become Senior and we always want to ensure they are comfortable and happy in their golden years! Itโs common for our Senior Patients to develop arthritis and decrease muscle strength, so itโs important to ensure they remain comfortable and strong. This is also a time when we perform blood tests routinely so that we catch any signs of disease in the early stages. Routine Vet Care contributes to both quality of life and longevity!
We canโt help but toss out there our Throw Back Thursday #TBT which features some of our โSUPER VETSโ treating some of our โSUPER SENIORSโ!
Contact us at 403.901.1800 for any further questions on Senior Month and how we can help benefit your pet in their golden years!
Today is Veterinary Appreciation Day!!

An update from Dr. Jodi and Dr. Peter on our response to COVID-19.
Caturday Tip
Have any cats that eat their food too fast, then barf it up? For this monthโs Caturday Tip, try this out โ forage feeding!
Forage feeding stimulates your cat mentally, mimics hunting for food, increases physical activity, and slows down the speed of eating!
Foraging toys can be simple and homemade, or you can purchase them commercially. Once your cat figures out the easy toys, increase the difficulty!
Make them WERK!
You will have a happy, more stimulated cat, and less barfy messes to clean up โ sounds like a win-win!

We are nearing the end of Dental Month and would like to thank all of our clients who brought their pets in for dental care throughout February!
Dental care is such an important part of our animalโs overall health, and as such we are implementing a NEW dental program to better serve our patients!
Talk to us for more details on our program, we think youโll like the changes!
Equine VSMT Withers Adjustment
Back pain is a largely under-appreciated and undiagnosed condition in our animal companions. Horses with back pain may be reactive when the saddle is placed on their back or when the girth/cinch is tightened. They may be inclined to buck, develop an attitude under saddle, struggle with transitions, or simply not be performing optimally. Animal chiropractic is a wonderful tool to address and prevent back pain in our equine athletes, allowing for optimal biomechanical performance and injury prevention. In this video, our friend Sam is having the base of his withers adjusted!

The ACC would like to wish all the mothers out there a very happy Motherโs Day!
Mothers donโt all look alike - some are mothers to the furry kind, and some are mothers to the human kind. At the clinic we have a few amazing mothers of all kinds!
