How it all began
How it all began @ Sally's Valley Kennels
π·My name is Cora and I LOVE dogs.
This might be an under statement as I live and breath dogs. My world revolves around dogs and I like to educate as a means to bring more awareness to owning dogs in a natural holistic way. You might not agree and thats okay. I love what I do and I love to bring awareness. I was born in Holland in 1966 and English is not my first language! As a default my writing will have mistakes in it and I am bad with punctuations. If you can read through the mistakes, you might enjoy what I have to say.. My pack at the moment consists of 7 Bernese mountain Dogs Heidi, JJ (Jolige Julia), Noel, Remi, Mahto, Odaa and Sisi! Joy and Romy live with friends. 7 Papillons, Kiki, Barney, Pinky, Jessie, Joshua, Daisy and Fairy! Cassie lives with a friend. We also have 2 miscellaneous Dogs, Sadka the Maremmano and Ozzy our Deaf old rescue mix! It all started just after I got married to the love of my life in July of 1993. A little over 2 weeks later she was born! "My Girl Sally of the Barking Bunch", Sally for short! Sally was the epiphany of a dog, her photogenic appearance, her sweet nature, her very being made her the beginning of a very rewarding addiction. βShe was there when our daughter kelly was born, she was there for me struggling with disease and helping me get out of a wheelchair. She was there when our family decided to take the step and move to Canada, she was always at home anywhere we were, never a problem. She travelled with us in an RV all over Canada and part of North America! Being the great dog she was, everyone loved her wherever we went! Happy on her adventures, happy to just be! Sally was our rock, the beginning of our family, the beginning of our addiction, our farm is bearing her name in honour of her and her love of the country! Sally's Valley was born! The move to Canada was a good thing for her, she loved it, loved the freedom, no more leashes, the smells. She left a huge void in our hearts when she got cancer and couldn't fight it anymore.. RIP My Girl Sally, you changed our lives! We will never forget you and love you always
