Twin Rivers Equestrian Centre is currently seeking a dedicated individual to work on Sundays - 7:30 am to 3:30/4:00 pm. Responsibilities include various tasks such as stall cleaning, feeding, turning in/out, and general farm work. Applicant must be reliable and able to work independently and have basic horse knowledge. In addition to caring for horses, our facility also has ducks, pheasants, and dogs.

Applicants must have their own transportation, as our location is in the Cloverdale area of Surrey (near 168th and 48th Ave) and is not serviced by public transportation. The role may involve some heavy lifting, and experience with driving a tractor is beneficial

✨️Special Announcement✨️

We'd like to officially introduce Alex to our Twin Rivers family. Alex will be taking over our Saturday lessons for Ann. Ann will continue to teach on Wednesdays, offer Rider Level lessons on the weekends and run our camps.

With a remarkable two-decade presence in the hunter/jumper scene, Alex brings a wealth of experience to our barn. Alex has travelled across Canada, New Zealand, and the US having worked with many Grand Prix riders including our very own Tosca Kocken, the Blair family (NZ), Kyle King, and Andrea Strain.

Alex has competed in the jumpers with placings in the open division up to 1.15m. Recently, his passion over the last few years has been bringing along a homebred young horse and will continue competing once his school schedule allows.

As a certified Equine Canada Competition Coach, Alex's expertise is firmly rooted in a decade of transformative work as a therapeutic riding instructor at PRDA. Beyond the arena, Alex has his diploma in special education from KPU and spent 8 years working with students in the Langley school district. Alex is currently pursuing a degree in Integrated Studies at UFV and working towards his Bachelor of Education.

We're thrilled to have Alex enriching our Twin Rivers family with his expertise in coaching and passion for all things equestrian. 🐴
