🐾🐱Interested in opening your home to a temporary feline friend? 🐱🐾
DCAS still has openings for our Cat/Kitten Fostering Information Session at the shelter on Sunday, March 26th, 2023 at 1pm until 3pm!
During this information session you'll learn what it takes to foster a mom cat & kittens, orphaned kittens, undersocialized/feral cats & kittens and/or cats/kittens requiring post-surgical care.

You'll learn about more about the shelter, meet some of our current foster parents, to help you determine if fostering is for you!
Space is limited so registration will be required. Call the shelter today (604-940-7111) or email ([email protected]) to get your name on the list. 2 People Per Household Please

We're expecting a very busy kitten season and would love to expand our foster homes, so if you were considering fostering now is the time!

ADOPTER NEEDED - Meet LARA. Lara is an adorable 9 week old baby who looks maybe like a Boston terrier mix-maybe some rock'n'roll. Who knows? Lara is a lively baby who loves to play.She weighs 10 lbs already. She is also a total snuggle bug. This little guy and his siblings were all dumped. *sigh* Lara doesn't care because she has moved onto greener pastures at his foster home. Lara is a very affectionate little girl. She listens if you wave a cookie infront of her. She should fit into most households with cats, kids and other dogs.

Adoption Update for Felix and Luna!

"Both Felix and Luna are doing very well. Felix towers over Luna in size but it doesn’t stop her from anything. These two are best friends and will do everything together - nap, eat and play. Their favourite activity is to go on the deck and watch the birds. We are so grateful that they got to stay together during their adoptions! "
