Newest baby today on her first day. Her name is Harper, white lab. She's happy to be here and totally enjoyed her first day with her new pack of friends and chewing on a new to her bone. That's her newest bestie friend June, bernardx, sitting on the love seat. ❤️

Hello folks! Well, there has been a change in plans and my extra days off. My friend has passed away and so I won't be going to see her this weekend. As a result, I'll be OPEN this coming Monday, Aug 26, instead of being closed as I mentioned a while ago, however, I will be taking an extra day off on Friday, Aug 30 added on to the Labor Day long weekend to go to her celebration of life. As per usual, I'm CLOSED for Labor Day Monday, Sept 2. Thank you for your understanding. I hope everyone has a great long weekend, the last one of summer. ❤️

I'm uber surprised to see North putting up with Riggs sitting on him. It must be love, or cold. He doesn't seem to mind at all. ❤️

Video today of a swell group of dogs. Axel, boxer, is playing really well with puppies Dover, shepx, and June, St. Bernard x. It is such a pleasure to watch them play. There is also Griffin, King Charles spaniel, sitting on the chair arm waiting for his 1 minute of fame. Belle, bichon x, sadly for us, is moving today. I will miss her spunky little spirit. However, I do wish her and her mom good luck in their new life on the Island. Change is good. Jameson, beagle x, Finnegan, aussie, and Truffle, bl lab, also starring in the movie. Enjoy a day, well, at least 3 minutes, of a dog day afternoon down here at the watering hole.

It has been brought to my attention that Reconciliation Day has become a new stat holiday for everyone this year, not just for federal government workers. So, in honor of that, I will be CLOSED on Monday, Oct 2. I hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy our new stat holiday.
