Angry butt scratch.... The Common Snapping Turtle gets his shell scrubbed as his tank water is changed. He doesn't really like it but it is good for his shell.
Common Snapping turtles are native to Canada, mostly Manitoba, Ontario and parts of Quebec. They should never be teased or approached. They can extend their neck and head the length of their body. This surprises people and they end up getting a very nasty bite. It is usually good practise to live wildlife alone. They can look after themselves very well and don't need people to interfere. Let nature take its course, whichever way that will be.
It was Hagrid's 5th birthday yesterday! So we celebrated with some yummy treats for him. We are open for you to come visit every day except Tuesdays and Wednesdays. call or email to book an appointment 604 531-1100 or [email protected]
Flemish Giant Rabbits are the largest breed of rabbit and they were originally bred in Europe for meat and fur. They are a very gentle easy going rabbit but large. They can weigh up to 22 pounds!

It's World Tortoise and Turtle Day !!! Check out our little video about a few of the tortoises in our care. Tortoises are super cool and a generally a gentle animal but not good pets because they live SOOOO long. You would have to put it in your will because they live longer then we do.
