It’s here! Christmas Hamper assembly week. However, we need your help!! The numbers of hampers we are packing is up, but our food donations are down. Would you help us fill our hampers with the following items? All donations can be dropped off until Thursday at the Alice McKay building at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds between the hours of 9am and 7pm. Thank you for helping us spread joy this Christmas!

The update on kitty is a sad one. I am absolutely crushed to have to share that he passed away in my arms earlier today.

This poor baby was dumped at the store earlier this week. Upon my immediate examination, several things stuck out immediately. Firstly, kitty was a snow Bengal, which is an exotic breed. Secondly, he had a shaved neck and indications he had already been to the vet. His belly was hugely distended with worms, he was lethargic and had laboured breathing. The Vet diagnosed a heart condition, he and I then worked together to decide the best option for kitty. The team at the store and I took care of him until today when we made the heartbreaking decision to put him to rest. Kitty had FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) and we did not want to prolong his suffering.
I only knew this kitty for a few days but that’s all it takes. He was so incredibly sweet and did not deserve to be abandoned no matter how sick he was. At least for his last few days, we made sure he was loved and I snuggled him as he passed.

I hope that sheds some light on the situation for those of you who had questions. My apologies for not being forthcoming with too much information when he was first dropped, but it’s always in the best interest of the animal 💜🐾

And a huge thank you to a long time customer who happened to be in the vet at the time… She was an absolute angel and contributed towards the vet bill after I left.

Thank you to everyone who has called or came in to inquire about the kitty who was left at the store the other day. We have such an amazing pet community here in the Cloverdale and Clayton area.

Kitty was taken to the vet and together, we are working to find its home. There are other details surrounding this kitty that we are not releasing at this time for their protection due to health and breeding or resell concerns. These details would be well known and obvious to the owner

I just wanted to let everyone know that kitty is where they need to be for now, is safe, and is being well cared for.

It is with the heaviest hearts that I announce what many of you may already know. Tragically last week we lost our beautiful friend and cherished teammate, Abbey Bickell, in a motor vehicle accident.
Our family has personally known Abbey for over 15 years, and she has been part of our Bosley’s store family for over six years. Abbey was smart, sweet, adventurous, funny, and kind. She was an asset to any team to which she ever belonged, as it was her nature to be dedicated and hard-working. She always had a way with animals and one of my favourite memories is when she started a dog walking business when she was just 10 years old! Abbey was an exceptional young woman, and we will miss her terribly. Our hearts and thoughts go out to her family, many friends, and all who loved her as we did.

Hello Bosleys Family and Friends, I hope you are all keeping safe through the heat wave.

As we know, the town, people and pets of Lytton have not fared well. The town has been destroyed by fire and the people are in need.

We are working with 2 local RCMP officers to fill a truck of pet supplies to be taken up to support the families that have been displaced in Lytton and the surrounding areas.

We will be collecting donations at Bosleys Cloverdale this weekend. 100% of donations will be sent up to the Fraser Canyon. All money donated will be used to purchase product at cost. As well, all purchases being made for donation will be discounted. Anything helps.
