✨️Client Spotlight✨️

Let me introduce you to Shuggie Otis and Nina Simone. Yes I use their full names when I need their attention. Otherwise affectionately known as “Shugs” and “Ninapopina “.

They are 13 yr old brother and sister Ragdoll/Bengal mixes. They have the lovely combination of being curious, playful and affectionate.

Shuggie the male, is more dog than cat. He’s the meeter and greeter, loves to supervise and has mastered plopping down and exposing his rather plump belly for a rub. (But we don’t call him fat!). He just can’t get enough loooooove.

Nina is the cat. She believes herself to be the prettier of the two. She has regular zoomie episodes and loves to play fetch. She follows her brother around and can annoy him with frequent meowing. She growls when she hears strange noises. We call her our princess and an effective security system.

They are never far from each other and for that reason we are so pleased to have found Cat Utopia. When we board them we know they will get attention, care and love. We realize they are in a loving home away from home.

Meet The Kitties 😸

This is Cash & Manson!

These boys have been with us for a month and have one more month to go! We love them so much. They have settled into the kennel and are enjoying their new environment (and the staff). When they came to stay with us, mom told us that they were aggressive towards other kitties, but with us, they love to walk around the kennel and check out their new friends.

Cash demands constant kisses, and if you are sitting, he is sat with you.

Manson, however, is your buddy until there is food.. then he's got other things go do and he will see you later ✌️

We are so glad we get to hangout with them for such a long time 💕

✨️Client Spotlight✨️

Armani, Sienna and their mom are long time Cat Utopia Family members and some of our favorite people!

Peep the baby pictures at the end. I can't imagine Armani this small and can't get over the colour of Sienna's eyes

Here's what mom has to say:
Armani and Sienna came into my life as babies after I had a vacation to Italy 8 years ago. They chose me from a visit at LAPS. Their original names were Scorpious and Hermione, part of the LAPS’ Harry Potter litter. I changed their names to Armani and Sienna, when I brought them home, Italian names based from the recent trip to Italy.
They are strictly indoor cats and are very spoiled. They have every toy, tent, hammock, tunnel, water fountain that cats could ever want. Armani enjoys head bumps, Sienna enjoys running super fast and jumping up on your lap and curling up tightly in a ball to nap. They were such good company through the COVID lockdown.. a true blessing to have them then and always.
They love spending time at Cat Utopia, it’s their home away from home, I have taken them and previous cats there for the past 15 years - for them it’s like they are going on vacation to the Spa. Cathy, Breanna and team always spoil them! I am so comfortable leaving them there for a stay. The love and kindness they show to my babies throughout the years has been immeasurable.

Meet the Kitty 😺

This is Gavin!!

Gavin is a big personality in a little body. This man is a picky eater, litter box digger 💩 and nervous Nelly. BUTTT he is also attached to our staff, obsessed with his brush 🪥 and very talkative. We always know what he needs. Over the last year, he has really opened up in the facility and even loves to watch the other kitties.

We love when Gavin comes to visit us (and sing to us)

🐈‍⬛️Meet the Kitty🐈‍⬛️

This is Mia!

She is one of our spicey friends 🔥

While she is food motivated and loves us to watch her roll, she doesn't so much want our undivided attention. She likes to go on walks, visit her kitty friends, and watch the kids across the parking lot play at daycare 🧸

Every stay she warms to the staff more and more and my hope is by the end of next year we would be able to earn a few pets 🐾

Earning the trust of our angrier friends is one of our favorite activities and something we take great pride in. 💖
