For the few of you who made arrangements to pick your orders up tomorrow, I forgot my daughter has a basketball game at 7:30 so I will not be available for pick up until after the game is over or you can pick up on Tuesday anytime after 7.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
The hope was that all orders would be picked up this evening and when I made the handful of arrangements for tomorrow, the game had slipped my mind.
Everything is packed and ready to go!
Please check your inboxes to arrange pick up.
Please pick up as quickly as possible. Most of these treats do need to be refrigerated and I do not have the fridge space for all of these orders.
The treats are finished baking and are currently being packaged.

Just a reminder that payments for Christmas orders are due in a week.
All orders must be paid for by December 10th to be guaranteed.
Any orders not paid for by this date will be cancelled and the order spot will be given to someone on the cancellation list.

I have received so many orders in such a short time that I have to stop taking orders at this time to ensure that I am able to fulfill the orders that have already been placed.
If you have placed an order please make sure payment is sent no later then December 10th.
If you wanted to place an order but didnāt do so before ordering was closed, message me to be put on a cancellation list. Any orders not paid for by December 10th will be cancelled and an opportunity to order in that spot will be given on a first come first serve basis to those on the cancellation list.

Each order will be in a Christmas themed gift box or bag and the cost is $15.

All treats will be made in a medium/large size so that all dogs regardless of breed can enjoy their Christmas snacks (larger treats can be broken for smaller dogs).
All orders must be paid in full before December 10th and pick up will be December 17th.

I know I havenāt been offering specials for a while and Iāve had to turn down several orders because I just donāt have time outside of work to do any baking.
BUTā¦..I am considering offering a Christmas special again this year.
Each order will be a dozen or more treats, (flavours to be determined later) and you can choose to have all one flavour or a combination of all flavours offered.

Hello everyone!
Iāve been watching the predicted weather forecasts very closely and several weather pages and meteorologists are calling for a winter storm with the potential to be the worst storm Nova Scotia has seen in over 10 years. Frankie himself is calling for 50+ cm of snow and some sites are even saying it will be comparable to White Juan, which if youāre old enough to remember that storm, youāll understand why itās significant.
In the spirit of being prepared, we encourage anyone who believes they will need food for their pet this upcoming weekend to please reach out to either the Pet community cupboard face book page or Barktastic Treats. We will happily do up care packages for you to make sure your furry friend has a full tummy if we are snowed in and the cupboards are not accessible.
Never hesitate to reach out, we have received multiple pet food donations and are more then happy to help make sure you have what you need to get through the potential storm.

Someone generously donated several coats and sweaters to the Pet community cupboard in Sydney š
I did have to remove them from the cupboard so it could be restocked with food but the sweaters are available to anyone who needs one.
The sweaters are size small and medium.
If youāre interested just send me a message and you can pick it up or it can be dropped off depending on location.
I have a variety treat bag that was not picked up. Unfortunately the person that ordered it is not responding to messages, so the bag is up for grabs if anyone is interested.

Proceeds go towards buying food for the community pet cupboards around the CBRM
Itās come to my attention that someone has been cleaning out the Pet community cupboard in Sydney. This person has been bringing their own shopping bags and taking everything that the pet cupboard has in it. And I mean EVERYTHING. I do my best to keep the cupboard stocked but it is meant to help more then one person. Recently I stocked the cupboard with bags of dog food (equaling 48 cups of food), bags of cat food (equaling 20 cups of food) and over 20 cans of both dog and cat food along with bags of treats. Someone pulled up to the cupboard and took ALL of it, every last thing. This is unfortunate because it cleaned the cupboard out and left nothing for anyone else.
According to neighbours, this person has done this multiple times which is disheartening and saddens me when I think about others who came behind him and found the box empty.
I will continue stocking the cupboard but I will no longer be stocking it as full as I have been because of actions like this. Now I am also going to be offering an order type service, similar to a food pantry.
If you are in need of pet food and find the cupboard is not stocked or are worried a trip to the cupboard will not be helpful or fear it will be emptyā¦..please message Barktastic Treats, tell me what you need and I will do up a care package for you that you can pick up on a date and time that works for you.
I want to make sure that everyone that needs food for their furry friend has access to it and isnāt forced to go without because of one persons inconsideration for anyone else.

The treats bags are $20 each and ALL proceeds will be going towards purchasing food for the Pet community cupboard . If you would like to make a pet food donation (dog or cat) a $5 discount will be applied to your order.
Treats will be baked fresh February 3 & 4 and will be ready for pick up on February 5th.
Pick up in Sydney or a meet up location can be arranged.
There will be a limited number of treat bags available so place your order now to ensure availability.
The Pet community cupboard in Sydney outside of Barktastic Treats is going very well. The need is much greater then anticipated, the cupboard is being restocked every 2 days because it emptying that quickly. Thank you to everyone who has donated, we had cat food and treats dropped off a few days ago, someone left several cans of dog food in the cupboard and this huge bag of dog food was left on the step today with a note ā¤ļø Thank you Zeus.
If you are in need of food for your dog or cat, please donāt hesitate to stop by and take what you need from the cupboard.
If you are in a position to donate some food to the cupboard it would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be dropped off or picked up.

It is located outside of Barktastic Treats at 458 Bentinck Street (dead end section off of Argyle).
We all know that times are tough, so if youāre finding it difficult to feed your furry friend, please stop by and take what you need from the cupboard.
You can also donate by leaving food in the cupboard or you can leave it on the porch of the home itās attached to.
If you live in the Sydney area and would like to donate but do not have transportation, send us a message and we will arrange to have your donation picked up.

We are teaming up with Pet community cupboard and will be putting a pet cupboard outside of our Bentinck Street location to help those in need that have a furry friend. But we need a cupboard that we can put the food and essential in.
If you have a cupboard that is made of wood or another material that can withstand the elements and would like to donate it or sell for a small fee, please let me know.
The sooner we get the cupboard the sooner we can start helping the four legged members of our communities.
I will stopping order pick ups today at 6:00. Any orders not picked up by that time will have to be picked up tomorrow. I have family time to do this evening while I know we still have power.
