For the few of you who made arrangements to pick your orders up tomorrow, I forgot my daughter has a basketball game at 7:30 so I will not be available for pick up until after the game is over or you can pick up on Tuesday anytime after 7.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
The hope was that all orders would be picked up this evening and when I made the handful of arrangements for tomorrow, the game had slipped my mind.

Please pick up as quickly as possible. Most of these treats do need to be refrigerated and I do not have the fridge space for all of these orders.

Just a reminder that payments for Christmas orders are due in a week.
All orders must be paid for by December 10th to be guaranteed.
Any orders not paid for by this date will be cancelled and the order spot will be given to someone on the cancellation list.

Payments can be e-transfered to [email protected]
Please remember to let me know if the transfer will come through in a different name than you use on Facebook so I can ensure the corrected order is marked as paid.

Thank you to everyone who placed an order for the Christmas boxes.
I have received so many orders in such a short time that I have to stop taking orders at this time to ensure that I am able to fulfill the orders that have already been placed.

If you have placed an order please make sure payment is sent no later then December 10th.

If you wanted to place an order but didn’t do so before ordering was closed, message me to be put on a cancellation list. Any orders not paid for by December 10th will be cancelled and an opportunity to order in that spot will be given on a first come first serve basis to those on the cancellation list.

Ordering for the Christmas Special is now OPEN.

Each order will be a dozen or more treats, you can choose to have all one flavour or a combination of all flavours offered.
Each order will be in a Christmas themed gift box or bag and the cost is $15.

Available flavours are:

- Peanut Butter Honey Treats
- Blueberry Delight
- Pumpkin Yummy Treats
- Blueberry Mini Pup Muffins
- Cranberry Honey Treats
- Everything You Love
- Pumpkin Peanut Butter Bites

All treats will be made in a medium/large size so that all dogs regardless of breed can enjoy their Christmas snacks (larger treats can be broken for smaller dogs).

All orders must be paid in full before December 10th and pick up will be December 17th.

I know I haven’t been offering specials for a while and I’ve had to turn down several orders because I just don’t have time outside of work to do any baking.
BUT…..I am considering offering a Christmas special again this year.
Each order will be a dozen or more treats, (flavours to be determined later) and you can choose to have all one flavour or a combination of all flavours offered.
Each order will be in a Christmas themed gift box and the price will be $15.

If you would be interested in this special, please comment below. If there is enough interest, I will post in a week or two with flavours and details and begin taking taking orders.

This week I am taking orders for pup muffins 😋

The available flavours will be:

- Peanut Butter Banana
- Banana Pumpkin
- Apple Pumpkin
- Peanut Butter Blueberry
- Pumpkin Carrot
- Strawberry Banana
- Pumpkin Peanut Butter

These will be sold in packs of a dozen.

$15 for a dozen regular (large) size pup muffins.
$10 for a dozen mini pup muffins.

If you would prefer the dozen to be 2 different kinds (6 each), that can be done as well.

Orders will be taken through the week with baking being done over the weekend and will be ready for pick up on Monday (13th) evening and Tuesday.

Order now as availability will be limited.

Hello everyone!
I’ve been watching the predicted weather forecasts very closely and several weather pages and meteorologists are calling for a winter storm with the potential to be the worst storm Nova Scotia has seen in over 10 years. Frankie himself is calling for 50+ cm of snow and some sites are even saying it will be comparable to White Juan, which if you’re old enough to remember that storm, you’ll understand why it’s significant.
In the spirit of being prepared, we encourage anyone who believes they will need food for their pet this upcoming weekend to please reach out to either the Pet community cupboard face book page or Barktastic Treats. We will happily do up care packages for you to make sure your furry friend has a full tummy if we are snowed in and the cupboards are not accessible.
Never hesitate to reach out, we have received multiple pet food donations and are more then happy to help make sure you have what you need to get through the potential storm.

Someone generously donated several coats and sweaters to the Pet community cupboard in Sydney 😊
I did have to remove them from the cupboard so it could be restocked with food but the sweaters are available to anyone who needs one.
The sweaters are size small and medium.
If you’re interested just send me a message and you can pick it up or it can be dropped off depending on location.

I have a variety treat bag that was not picked up. Unfortunately the person that ordered it is not responding to messages, so the bag is up for grabs if anyone is interested.

9 different treat varieties including:
Blueberry pup muffins
Peanut butter sandwich cookies
Peanut butter honey treats

Pumpkin yummy treats

Peanut butter pumpkin bites

$15 for the bag.

Proceeds go towards buying food for the community pet cupboards around the CBRM

It’s come to my attention that someone has been cleaning out the Pet community cupboard in Sydney. This person has been bringing their own shopping bags and taking everything that the pet cupboard has in it. And I mean EVERYTHING. I do my best to keep the cupboard stocked but it is meant to help more then one person. Recently I stocked the cupboard with bags of dog food (equaling 48 cups of food), bags of cat food (equaling 20 cups of food) and over 20 cans of both dog and cat food along with bags of treats. Someone pulled up to the cupboard and took ALL of it, every last thing. This is unfortunate because it cleaned the cupboard out and left nothing for anyone else.
According to neighbours, this person has done this multiple times which is disheartening and saddens me when I think about others who came behind him and found the box empty.
I will continue stocking the cupboard but I will no longer be stocking it as full as I have been because of actions like this. Now I am also going to be offering an order type service, similar to a food pantry.
If you are in need of pet food and find the cupboard is not stocked or are worried a trip to the cupboard will not be helpful or fear it will be empty…..please message Barktastic Treats, tell me what you need and I will do up a care package for you that you can pick up on a date and time that works for you.
I want to make sure that everyone that needs food for their furry friend has access to it and isn’t forced to go without because of one persons inconsideration for anyone else.

I hope you all made it through the storm safe and unharmed. Unfortunately, we did sustain some damage so we will not be opening or taking orders this week or next week while we clean up and replace what we lost.
